wanna buy android tablet. can anyone suggest me whats the best tablet i can get lets say price below RM1000

the screen the bigger the better.

major concern,
- Screen quality. Retina display myb ?
- Quad Core processor. Dont want any lag

Below 1000 a bit hard. Xperia tablet z is 1499. Since you want around same size screen as Ipad, it's the only one I would recommend. Btw out of curiosity why change from ios to android? IMO android tablet that can really fight an Ipad not much choice. Don't really recommend going for last year transformer tablets which have high resolution too but using tegra 3. If you don't mind going for smaller size then wait for new nexus 7. Will have FHD resolution and can probably get one within your budget.

spec - should be 1gb ram and 16 gb space, above 7 inch

mainly buying for watching movies,, i travel alot so i download movies in my laptop n need to upload into tab n watch when ever i travel,,so prefer good screen HD quality screen and basic browsing like fb n youtube

prefer a tab with nice build and must have front camera for video calling too

Top up abit, can get Vido N80 IPS. 8" 4:3 display, good for reading, not movies.

design is sleek...software wise it is smooth...imho better buy compare to ipad mini wifi.

hope it stays as good

only thing is i need to get used to the 'missing' home button...keep pressing middle but nothing show up

how come i never see anyone selling Galaxy tab 3 7.0 and 8.0 in garage sales yet?
i've been to 1 Utama yesterday, some shops and Samsung booth already have them, very nice and price is just rm999.. I thought can find cheaper price here in garage sale.
