If you can afford the tab3 8.0, then go for it.

specs wise it is much better than the A1.

1. Brand: preferable branded
2. Budget: preferable less than rm1500
3. Specs: 7-8 inch
4. What you need in the tablet: Casual browsing/eBook reading/Gaming/Note taking (but mostly gaming and browsing)

so you are saying Ramos W13PRO is better than those allwinner a13 tablets?
I used them before for a while, borrowing it from my friend.
I didn't like the lack of saturation.
what is your opinion on the ramos w13pro screen quality?
does it have custom ROM?

Despite how good it is, I dont think it's available locally.

You may want to try the Vido N80S instead, if you seek a dual core 8" tablet.

I wouldn't recommend 7" tablets for PDF readings. Too narrow if compared to 8" models.

Vido N70S would be a good choice if you want a solid 7".

Other alternatives includes the Pipo S1S, Pipo S1 Pro, Pipo S3, Cube U30GT Mini...

I remember I did some survey few months ago about which 9.7" China tablet. Anyone look for 9.7" China tab can look further into this two model, the Pipo M9 and the Onda v973. You can look at YouTube for review.
