They sell expensive. You can get below RM600.
Its outdated. S800 > S600 > S4 Pro (Nexus 4) > Exynos 4412 (Note 2)

Rockchip 3188 > Exynos 4412

Rockchip 3188 can fight with S4 Pro  laugh.gif

snapdragon s4 is not the latest and greatest now but surely it doesnt deserved to be called 'outdated'.
it's still way above those used in mid range devices.

ya, the wallsocket poweradapter also crappy.
mine is dead, wouldnt charge. luckily my tablet still can charge thru the usb port.
using normal 5v 1a charger, its a bit slower, but better than buying new adapter.

Qoo10 is the worse bulk buying website I've ever seen.
*
agreed, their website designed so unorganized as if wanna trick you into paying more for some hidden costs.

On a side note, how many good 7" tablets that aren't Chinese tablets, but branded one? So far, for our local market, we have these for under RM600

- HP Slate 7
- Asus Memo Pad HD7
- Acer Iconia A1
- Lenovo A1000

i've seen some sellers on lelong dropping the old n7 16gb wifi price to around 700.

Which itself isn't a bad tablet per se.

But there are compromises la, if you choose to use a Nexus device.
*
what kind of compromise?

No HDMI, No rear camera, no expandable memory.

ya, for that kind of budget, no one device has everything in it.
not all has video out, dual core vs quad core, no gps, etc

Between Asus Memo HD7 and Nexus 7, is it worth the extra RM200 for Nexus 7? I hear the Tegra chip in Nexus 7 plays games better and Nexus 7 has better audio. What's your opninion?
*
if you play a LOT of graphic heavy games, then recommended to get the better one.
if u just need it for reading, facebook, web surfing, watch movie, then its not necessary.

any tried the cheapcast app on their tablets? install the app, connect tablet to tv and you have a 'chromecast'.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?....maui.cheapcast

i tried it on my older unused allwinner a10 tablet and the video is lagging, not sync to the audio. anyone else have performance issues?

I feel that the Nexus10 is a better bet...

but the nexus 10 is only running on dual core exynos, not mention the insanely high screen res.

Choose if you:

tablet 1) want super cheap, or easy to carry.
tablet 2) need lots onboard memory (>16gb) cos has microsd card slot
tablet 3) want better performance than memopad 10, just pay abit more.

I'm not too sure if the Nexus10's OTG can work with a HDD.. But pendrives shouldn't be a problem...
*
the power thru otg is not very high, pendrive, sdcard readers are ok.
if HDD, only those 3.5" with external power can use, those smaller 2.5" wont run.

Unless the 2.5" hook up to a powered hub.
*
yeah, that'll work.
but i've never bought a usb hub with external power before, i'd imagine they are rather pricey.
