Did a 4d3n a fortnight ago. Weather was kind - no rain and clear skies, and mostly everything went well.

Day 1 (17/10)
Arrive Ngurah Rai late noon > Malioboro (lunch) > Lake Beratan (macam Cameron Highlands - cooling) > Lovina (Stayed : Lovina Oasis)

Day 2 (18/10)
Super early 5am wake-up, dolphin hunting watching (I guess we're quite lucky, damn lots of dolphin to see - some swam right next to our boat) > Kintamani ('see' volcano, skipped the buffet lunch) > coffee farm > Tegallalang > Dirty Duck/Bebek Bengil (early dinner) > Check-in Tegal Sari > took free-shuttle service(to & fro) explore area around Ubud Palace/Market until late night

Day 3 (19/10)
Ate at some roadside stall (brunch, don't know why the supir kept avoiding Naughty Nuri sad.gif ) > Tanah Lot (quite lucky that it's low-tide, can cross to the temple, Yay!) > Jimbaran (Dinner at Lia Cafe, their staff shirt has "Trip Advisor 4 stars laugh.gif) > Back to ubud Tegal Sari

Day 4 (20/10)
Off to Uluwatu (they're not kidding about the darn monkeys there - snatched the glasses right off an ang moh's face in front of our eyes - be alert!) > Krishna (buy souvenir and stuff) > fly off to Bandung in the evening.

Our supir(Pak Nyoman) was ok, will try other supir the next time I visit smile.gif

Just came back from Bali trip from 26 Oct -30 Oct. Purpose was honeymoon with wifey. It was my first time here, so I hire Pak Arieff as recommended by bros here, and did not regret it one bit.

Since it was my first time, so i decided to let Pak Arieff plan the itinerary. Below is the summary of my experience there. Oh, weather was hot and clear, no rain, so lucky us.

26 Oct
Arrived at airport at 7.30PM. After immigration and retrieve checked bag, went outside and Pak Arieff is already there waiting for us. Went straightaway to Ubud (1 hour++ trip) and checked in at Umae Villa since it was night time already. Nice villa with private swimming pool, and walking distance to Monkey Forest temple around 10 minutes, and it is at the heart of Ubud town too. Recommended to stay around this area.

No activity for tonight. Just rest for the day.

27 Oct
Pak Arieff arrived early to pick us up. First, went to Monkey Forest Temple since it was near. Monkey here is nicer compare to Uluwatu Temple. Take photos here and there, then proceed to Tirta Empul Holy Spring Temple. Take photos some more and watched hindus taking shower in the pool.

Next, go to Luwak Coffee Plantation. Given nice tour by the plantation staff, and get to taste their wide range of coffees. Superb. As a coffee lover, I shopped here more than I plan to haha.

After that, we went to have lunch at Kintamani. Lunch here is expensive and nothing to shout about. But the view, priceless. Moving on, we proceed to Tegalalang on the way back to Ubud. The paddy field view here is magnificent.

We arrived at Ubud around 7.30PM, and Pak Arieff bring us to dinner at Warung Ikan Bakar & Bebek Resto Sawah Indah. Although at night, dinner here was superb albeit a little bit expensive. The restaurant was beautiful, and we ate in the middle of paddy field. Unfortunately for us, most of the paddy field has been cropped. Oh well.

28 Oct
Our first destination is Taman Ayun Temple. Nothing to shout about here. Take photos, and proceed to next destination, which is Ulun Danu Temple at Bedugul. Here, is a different story. The temple is at highland, and weather was cool there. The view of the temple overlooking the Bedugul lake was amazing. The environment was really peaceful and serene. I like it here.

Up next is watching sunset at Tanah Lot. This is a must have on your itinerary. It was beautiful, and we managed to get few nice shots here. Just pray that it is not raining or cloudy when you visit here.

Then, Pak Arieff bring us dinner at a nice restaurant which I forgot the name already. I think it's in Kuta. We ate dinner at a small room in the middle of a pond, and the setting was very nice. We spent about RM100 for dinner there, but considering the nice traditional deco, privacy and not to mention nice food, I think it was well worth it.

29 Oct
Not much activity today. Just visited Kuta Beach and Padawa Beach (I think that's the name) and chillax and taking photos. Honeymoon right? I did not play watersports because my wife don't want to as she felt not well that day. Today, we just chilling around at the beach before we go to Uluwatu Temple to watch Kecak Dance during sunset.

At 4.30 PM, we arrived at Uluwatu Temple. Pak Arieff bought us the ticket for Kecak Dance while we were busy enjoying the scenery along the cliff of uluwat Temple. It was very beautiful there and this is one place you do not want to missed.

We then proceed to go to the Kecak Dance area before the seat is full. Pak Arieff book us a nice seat for us to watch the sunset while watching the Kecak Dance. This dance is worth to watch at least once in your lifetime, otherwise skip it since there's not so many special things about it.

Alas, dinner time at Jimbaran follows. Like other bros said, the seafood was not that good, you pay for the scenery only. We didn't get to watch sunset while dinner (since we are in Uluwatu at that time). Hoever, it is still a very romantic place to eat dinner.

30 Oct
Went to Discovery Mall before Pak Arieff fetch us to airport for return flight at 2PM.

And that's the long summary of my trip to Bali. For those who want to hae Pak Arieff as your supir, you can whatsapp him at +62 817 537 826. He's a nice chap, can speak Bahasa and English well, always follow your plan, and does not charge extra for working overtime. During my stay in Bali, almost everyday we return to Villa at 10PM. His rate may be a little bit expensive from other supir, but he's worth it.

How much would be your budget? If you can try it, I tried Orchid a few times and it's still good. Best if you can get your driver to help you book in advance as it's quite full sometimes.
