Need ur opinion, how about DLS R6A vs Focal 165A, n DLS UR vs Focal 165V2 series? In SQ + price range.

i never like Focal
so my votes goes to DLS !!!

The "Real" DLS R6A cost Rm 800 range (same with Alpine 171) ?

So far I got these price range (all still can neg harga turun except Focal) :-

Alpine SPS-171 RM 800
Infinity 60.7 RM 980
Infinity Perfect 6.1 RM 1.4k
MB Quart DSF 216 RM 11xx (05 Old stock)
Kicker KS65.2 RM 1k (06 new stock)
Focal 165V1 RM 1.2k (Cash, from other forum, no neg)

I oso heart big heart small...

Was thinking get In 60.7 / Focal + 4 CH amp (2 Ch bridge for 8" Kicker KS80 Sub help up the bass) so I could hv crystal clear SQ + bass since I dun like strong SPL.

I got the price range for original component speaker below in Penang :
MB Quart DSF-216 RM880
DSL R6A RM880
Morel Pulse RM880
Alpine SPS-171 RM650
Helix BLUE 62 RM580

Eh? SPS-171 650? After discount or belum? DSL R6A...hmm.... tot what ppl said market price Rm 15xx ?

The sifu say buy a big quantity then the price will be more lower than market.
So he can sell it with cheaper price...
If he buy several pcs, the price should near the market price.
But RM1600 I can get DLS Ultimate series UP6 from Sifu
For Alpine SPS-171 sifu keep > 40 pcs.

Buy from internet got warranty ka?

I would say its a wasted if good Comp w/o Amp.

Wow... DLS R6A seem higher score from the test.

But, some uK audio web show R6A is £169.99, approximately RM 1.1k, so surprise can get at RM 8xx range in KL (refer previous post) ?

heard JBL GTO607c have 2ohm impedance for the comp set...

what u guys think.?

I not a fan of JBL... feel nothing special with JBL, maybe JBL suitable for listen R&B guar..?!

I prefer take DLS & MB Quart more than JBL...
I like MB Quart tweeter very much...DLS sound also tip top..

ohh y i like JBl..emm....coz my fren is selling JBL GTO6506c series to me with dono what heritage amp...

i love DLS too...especially the R6a series..within my budget...but i need an amp to pump it is tat so?

so what amp can drive this DLS R6A?? recommandation of brand and price~~

can i just install the R6A without an amp first? just power from my HU (poineer 6850) will it harm my HU?

what else do i need if i get a comp n amp? what about the installation? do i need to purchase the RCA cables as well when i get the amp?

Then you will know the difference loh...
DLS speaker more on vocal...

You can install DLS R6A 1st without amp, it won't harm your HU...& ur HU also won't harm DLS.
Once u have amp & component, u need do wiring lo...
Of couse u need RCA cable la...without RCA cable ur amp can use meh..

how do u guys judge the power rating on the component set? eg. 70W, 90 W...all these power rating will not effect yor HU?

as i see my HU produce 50W...enough to drive the DLS R6A?

let say i get the comp set....do i need to get the RCA cable as well..?

as i know if getting an amp only need to get the RCA cables right. correct me if im wrong.

only getting an amp requires RCA cable..as need Power Cable, Groung Cable and remote cable

the power rating is just a reading
nothing harmful to the HU nor the speakers
something like it performs best with the ratings(correct me if ayam wrong)

so even though i get higher amp comp set also will not harm my HU?

Why high power amp harm HU???
The amp input is from HU le... Not input from amp to HU...

DLS R6A is reference series... more higher than DLS classic series...
