I saw the post and ask my friend to take the picture yesterday.

The lower ground is empty, car park empty as well as the unit. There is simply no lights. No occupancy sighted.

Compare to the South View beside, there are lights and some occupancy, although I don't think it is good too.

Some agents we met tell the same narrative "rented out due to limited quantity" for South Link. I hope this picture clarify the real situation.

And there is a catch on South Link as well: The electric is COMMERCIAL rate! I confirmed this with the management.

Hi,
My SouthLink electricity tariff was already converted from commercial to residential rate.

Any owners here? How's the rental now?

Many agent are advertising rental of around 1.2k. Is it that bad now? It's almost half of the pre covid rate.

No offence to owners or interest party, Gateway mall is totally disaster.
400k for studio, it's really recipe of disaster especially for a country like Malaysia (expat cabut like no tmr)

Of course, covid is one of the factor but it's not the only excuse.

Soon will have. Now have almost 500 ads for renting, lol. Most of the buyers are pre-covid buyers expecting a rent of around 2k.

If their holding power is not enough, we should see firesale soon.

Hello guys, need some help, may I ask if Universiti LRT through KL Gateway mall, or Kerinchi LRT is nearer to walk to?

I checked google map, but it’s not going to Universiti LRT through the mall.

Need opinion from sifu sifu sekalian who have experience in walking to LRT from SouthLink/SouthView.

Thanks!

Unfortunately this is not the case. The rental market for southlink is very very good, hence, developer’s current new launch copied the same layout and sizes.

Many renovated units got leased within the first week. They are mostly expats staying in the building, hence, they don’t really drive or need a car park.

The best part is, non halal FOOD CITY food court has opened in the building and business is good during peak hours and Groceries supermarket will open next. Oppps, sorry to disappoint but No fire sale 😬.
