After reading comments here, I am finally convinced $60 down the drain and new record 4 most wasted buy since grid 2.

The collision feels very odd. Sometimes I am head on towards the pillar and my car just deflected from it as if i did not hit anything. Other times, even I just scratch the pillar by the side of my door, i literally spun out 180.

I rather have no cockpit views than a grind fest with always online.A good racing game keep players interested by good driving physics, great track design and well done immersion, not putting an endless carrots on a stick to keep people playing.

Unless you have VR or triple screen, cockpit view is completely useless as the field of view is so small. If they let you tweak your view angle and camera position a bit, then, cockpit view is quite viable.

its not entirely into the drain bro. as our comment is based on beta with testing build n not final, although nth much can be done for the handling physics, but for me, its quite fun and bring back me to Fuel which the map is waste and open road.

Tried 60fps. 780ti play it quite well with min above 40fps.
but in the BETA, when you are using the 3rd camera view - view the car from behind, try turn left or right and you will notice the car BODY movement/animation is robotic/jaggy/slow refresh?

utilize my gpu 99% constantly so try it for fun and not torture test. make my gpu climb to 76C

graphic settings all ULTRA? Im using my old GTX 570 with High preset...with 60fps mode i also getting avg above 40fps...but 60fps mode is a bit more buggy compared to 30fps...

Yup - TXAA4 @ 1440p.
well, they made the beta with 30fps caps in mind, and mayb they detected the 60fps has some issue, hence they disable it for the beta.

Very very grindy after putting some more hours in the game. I'll probably get this if it's on sale maybe.
But for now there is an alternative which is DriveClub for me on PS4 1 month earlier then The Cew.
If both sucks, i'll stick with my Mario Kart 8 lol!

I think Drive Club will be a way better game than The Crew. It feels like NFS World with better graphics and similar grinding.

I'll be able to test it out for free since i'm PS+ with the Playstation+ Edition.
Will definitely let you know how good it is when it's out.

I have no problem with The Crew except for the grinding..
The graphics is awesome, driving is good, mechanism, modifications and everything is cool.
But the grinding...Ain't nobody got time for that.

what i did 4 the grinding sacrifice while already in working life is sleep at 8pm and wake up at 3am and grind till 7am

Me want to play if it's better than NFS series.
