1.BE PART OF THE CREW

The Crew is a revolutionary action-driving game developed exclusively for next-gen consoles. It takes you and your friends on a reckless ride inside a massive, open-world recreation of the United States.

2.THE MOST VARIED DRIVING EXPERIENCE OF ALL TIME

Take part in a relentless ride to move up the ranks of the 510s, a gang grown around Detroit’s illegal street racing scene – making a rep for yourself on the underground-racing scene and ultimately taking down their activities all across the United States.
Maneuver through the bustling streets of New York City to lose the cops, cruise down sunny Miami Beach or trek through the breathtaking plateaus of Monument Valley. Each locale comes with its own set of surprises and driving challenges to master. On your journey you will encounter other players on the road – all potentially worthy companions to crew up with, or future rivals to compete against.

3.THE CREW DNA

-PREPARE FOR THE NEXT JOB

Earn new vehicles as you progress and customize them, according to your style and driving preferences. Do you have the required mastery for an endurance race, or the lightning-fast reflexes to tackle an epic downhill rally? Collect cosmetic and performance parts - stickers, liveries, rims, bumpers, skirts, wings, hoods... Make your car unique and take it on any terrain - asphalt, snow, sand, dirt, grass... Anywhere you go, there’s always a friend to show it off to, and more people to beat.

-NEVER DRIVE ALONE

Join a living, breathing world of car enthusiasts, where you always have someone next to you, ready to take on new challenges with or against you. Seamlessly jump in and out of each other’s games at any time, joining forces to overcome the toughest challenges: take down a rival faction driver on Las Vegas Strip, escape the police patrols across downtown Chicago, or confront an opponent crew on Florida’s beachfront highways. Make new encounters, cooperate with your friends, and beat their achievements when they’re gone. Build your crew of four drivers and take them in a thrilling ride through the entire USA.

-LIVE ALL THE ADVENTURES OF DRIVING

The entire United States is your driving playground, covering thousands of square miles, from city to suburb, county to county, state to state, coast to summit. Discover what freedom truly means, without any barriers to restrict your car to the road, in a world of unprecedented scope and loaded with exciting challenges. Crush rival crews in illegal street races in Detroit, chase down that last Colorado collectible in the snowy mountain peaks of Aspen, beat everyone on the racing track, or run after a target in the water drains of Los Angeles. This is driving at its most exciting, varied, and open.

-THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRIVING

A new generation of hardware requires new standards. Exclusively developed for the next generation of consoles, THE CREW offers a massive open world version of the USA, recreated with amazing graphics and level of detail. A world in which any driving fantasy can be realized – street, dirt, cross-country, circuit. A world brimming with life, challenges, and activities to keep you entertained for long. Continue the experience on iOS, Android tablets, and on the web. Keep track of your friends’ performances to beat their scores when you’re back in the game. Tinker with your ride and play it live to set new records.

UBISOFT® STEERS GAMERS INTO NEXT-GEN WITH NEW OPEN WORLD DRIVING TITLE THE CREW

LOS ANGELES – June 10, 2013 – Today at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Ubisoft revealed The Crew, a revolutionary online action-driving game developed exclusively for Xbox One®, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PlayStation® 4 computer entertainment system and for PC, to be released early 2014.

Development of The Crew is being led by Ivory Tower, a team of racing game veterans and an exclusive partner to Ubisoft, in collaboration with several Ubisoft studios including Reflections Ltd., a Ubisoft studio, best known for its work on the Driver® franchise.

The Crew propels gamers on a reckless ride through a massive open world version of the United States of America, brimming with exciting challenges and diverse terrain - from city to suburb, county to county, state to state, coast to summit. The Crew redefines the level of freedom players experience in a driving game by offering a playground of unprecedented scope in which any driving fantasy can be realized: street, dirt, cross-country, circuit and more.

To bring that vision to life, The Crew leverages the capabilities of new hardware to connect players online like never before. The Crew's persistent online world is populated by other real players, meaning any other car is a potential rival or ally, and naturally fostering both competition and cooperation among players. This living world provides a tailored experience to a new generation of gamers, as each player is given the choice to play alone, or to team up on-the-go with friends to accomplish collective challenges.

Finally, players can continue to interact with The Crew game world on a second screen via the companion application that will be available soon for iOS® and Android™ devices. The Crew companion app will allow for peripheral, complementary experiences, providing a more intricate player experience overall.

"We want to give players a driving experience that goes way beyond the classic circuit-based racing games and really captures the boundless sense of freedom of driving across the U.S.," said, Julian Gerighty, creative director, Ubisoft. "Our teams are harnessing the power of next-generation platforms to make The Crew a challenging, immersive and non-stop world that can be shared by millions of players. This is a brand new driving game experience unlike anything that's come before it."

With E3 only a week away now, more news has leaked from the latest efforts from Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections. Here’s what we’ve heard so far:

-The Crew will offer a game experience close to DRIVER: San Francisco.
-The gameplay is rather semi-arcade, accessible, fun and efficient.
-The open world is in North America, with the possibility to travel between New York City and Los Angeles (reduced scale).
-Like DRIVER: San Francisco, the map will be similar to “Google Maps”.
-In “freeride”, players will be free to choose between missions or challenges.
-Multiplayer will be competitive and co-operative with an upper limit of 8 players per-session.
-A companion app for mobile devices will be published
-The  source of this leak tested the game on the Xbox 360 console, but previous job listings seem to hint that a PS4 version is also in the works.
-The release date is expected to be announced before the end 2013.

Today, a source confirmed that Ubisoft has been working on an all new racing franchise called "The Crew," being developed by Ubisoft's Reflection's Studio. It's been described to me as a "realistic title, possibly being positioned against Forza and Gran Turismo." Very little information was given, but if true, we should see an announcement and possible trailer this E3. The title is said to be for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and possibly current generation consoles.

There's a reason why I think it's coming to PC. It's a game by both PC developers and remember WATCH_DOGS? Why would they not release next generations games on PC knowing there's a market for it.

I say I will request the mod to close this thread when the PC platform is not found in the official announcement coming this E3.

However, thank you for the word of advice.

Racing games on PC are thought to be unpopular to big publishers. Thats why i think i doubt well see it on PC.

Watch Dogs was announced on E3 2012 with the game running on a pc. Therefore it is expected to see it on pc.

Still, i rather wait for announcement but i still doubt to see it on pc.

How about DRIVER SAN FRANCISCO ?

Yes I agree with you, we should wait until this E3. I posted this thread because I feel it is a good idea to promote this title before the E3.

It sure is ! tongue.gif
If you haven't played Driver San Francisco, you should really play it. Ubisoft Reflections is good in developing a good car handling for their arcade-style racing games smile.gif

Also NEW VIDEO!

Seems like Ubisoft Reflection is making the driving physic while Ivory Towers making the environment and game events. I find The Crew to have a lot of similarities with Driver SF and TDU.

Definitely skipping NFS for this.

a racing game by ubisoft...well well..seem like ubisoft is really concentrating on giving player a freedom of choosing what they want to do...instead of letting player sit in a roller coaster ride...which juz stay on the track that was given..(considering most of their game announcement are all open world games..)

hope it dont disappoint...like what GRID 2 does...and the various NFS series..
