My colleague's set also have this issue. She tried browsing with wifi at home for 20 minutes, and it started to feel warm she had a Nillkin hardcase on, but I don't think that will affect it, right? How about you, any casing?

Why?chrome very power hungry? I always use chrome only :-P

it's normal when phone heat up...don't forget inside the phone have quad core processor..
when i use chrome for around 10minits..my phone temperature is around 39-40..
chrome consume alot of battery too..10minits of using,around 5-10% battery gone..
when play games,phone temperature can reach 41-43
dont worry..enjoy your phone..

Can try Dolphin Browser or Opera Browser.

Chrome will make the phone heat faster, but I don't care also as I love Chrome, hehe.

I am really enjoying this device now Xperia ZL aka C6502, i preferred this model as my area not LTE Coverage yet and i think it would take another year or two for LTE to be stable at my place. So I brought this used set (1.5month old)..

I'm using Dolphin Browser atm, tried Firefox and Opera, still prefer dolphin. would have use Chrome if it is not so HOT, haha

Chrome heats up the phone quickly, and that is likely due to CPU usage and will also likely lead to battery drain at a faster rate.

Ok.. noted that with thanks.. might try Opera later when I m at home..

Opera is the best for me, but since I also use Firefox on my desktop I use Firefox for my Android as well since I can sync everything just nice.

Firefox for me is somewhere between Opera and Chrome.

Used to love Dolphin Browser, if only for the Exit button and easy tab management. But now replaced with Chrome because of synced bookmarks. Dolphin also gave me problems with text areas in filling forms... like the Reply box in LYN.

BTW, ZL C6502 doesn't have LTE, right?

Yes , ZL C6502 dont have LTE . Only C6503 & C6506 got LTE
