I guess I have to use 2 hand for this phone most of the time from now on. The getting sore painful on the joint of my thumb, for stretching my thumb using this phone one hand. I guess apple is right about one hand use. (Well, at least for me)

I'm using Dolphin Browser atm, tried Firefox and Opera, still prefer dolphin. would have use Chrome if it is not so HOT, haha

Chrome heats up the phone quickly, and that is likely due to CPU usage and will also likely lead to battery drain at a faster rate.

Anyone with ZL please check the ir-remote learning feature. apparently quite a number of ZL users are having problem with it, the phone claim that it has learn the signal, but in the end the signal can't be re transmit.

I tried mine, same problem.

The sony support staff in the thread says that it is hardware problem. However I still believe it is software related, as the preset ir signal is working perfectly.

Using the learning feature or just the preset signal that comes with the phone?

If it is preset, mine also no problem. The problem is the learning feature, where it can learn, but cannot re-transmit.

for now, you have to insert it to the phone and format it to FAT32. 64gb comes in default in exFAT format.

official exFAT support should be coming soon (same as sony's tablet line)

Alright, another ZL user with same problem. Sony online forum support team claim it is hardware problem and ask us to go claim warranty sweat.gif rclxub.gif

I still believe it is software related instead of hardware, since the preset works perfectly

no need high end LCD TV to test. anything with remote control (IR) can be tested. you can try the preset mode by selecting the category and brand of your product.

There are plenty of preset available.

however if it is not available, you're suppose to be able to program it by using the learning feature (which is not working well atm)

I believe you can format it using your phone, either way it is fine (if you know how to do it)

I know remote works for preset. And yes I haven't come across ZL case with ir cutout.
There are no aircond preset available. The only way is to use the learning mode (which is not working well atm, you can let your device Lear the signal, but it won't re transmit)

If it is using infrared remote, then yes you can use your phone to learn the signal. But it most likely won't be able to retransmit the ir signal...

btw, any ZL C6502 owner with locked bootloader on official 4.2.2 tried to root using the doomlord method? saw a C6502 user successfully rooted, but with lock bootloader.

I wonder if it is the same for locked bootloader.

Or another way to look at it is 4.2.2 drain less battery during standby, thus faster charging time. It feels that way for me
