QUOTE(owikh84 @ Jul 22 2013, 04:24 PM) Can't recall but should be 2800 onwards needing me to up tRDRD to 5. Hmm than 2600 will be my 24/7.. thought before it always was up to 2400 only since everybody i see are doing 2600-2666 at tRDRD 5I don't have any CPU to play with right now waiting for Costa batch lol. anyway here is the final 2600 10-12-11-30 2T @ 1.625v. Now to get to the hard part of running 1T. ![]() This rams are really sweet. Thanks owikh. |

I noticed that the stock voltage at 1.65v... why not set at default (or slightly higher) and push the rams more? Is it 2 x 4Gb and how much does it usually cost? |

The difference of 0.025v is because its not running 1t which will required @1.65v. U really need to clock rams. Scaling vs performance vs gain. Samething why not use ure cpu voltage at 1.4 and run ure vcore and cache 1:1. Find the exact voltage. If not i dont call that clocking. I call that bantai. btw as usual with 1t with this rams its giving so much trouble lol. same was 2400 1t was not easy. btw i think tRDRD4 ends at 2600/2666 i think but again not easy. My poor RAM came with 2400MHz CL11 CR2 All rams are. To do 1t u need adjust some voltages. But this depends on imc strength. Btw tech no diff between 1t vs 2t in real world. My case two sticks easy .. 4 sticks at 2600 kindda hard but not impossible. But the sticks so far are giving out at 2666. 2800 just can boot n enter windows with no stability at all. Just run aida will reboot. |

yeah but lol i havent actually tried clocking two sticks yet.
but for now i really NEED some corsair Dom Plats 2666 C10's. but hmm i like ripjaw Z. ure rams bro are really a beaut and stays cool and are low profile. always was happy with 4gb. then went to 16gb. saw the benefits with fast ram. dont think can go back to 4 or downgrade to 8 again. Those are very odd default subtimings.
the tWRRD_dr/dd, tWRWR_dr/dd and tRDWR,dr/dd. hmm must try these. Tested the asrock timing configurator on m6e. Damn it shows all the correct timings except.. hmm i set tWTR to 9 but here it reads 10. I suspected as much. That that timing was not rite. btw whats CMD_stretch?? So far I have done lots of reading ... I'm not a gamer at all.. I just want a blazing fast computer for video and image rendering and also fast browsing. |
