Wanted to get the s4 lte model from maxis, went to the centre played with it for a while can see some lag here and there, tried playing iron man 3 was just so obvious. Ionically the note 2 are running much smoother than the 4. Wonder if the issues will be fixed?

First rule when playing with display model, restart the fon..note2 is last year fon, so people will tend to play with s4 more than note2..

Really? With Samsung new flagship phone packed with such high end processor I don't expect to see anything like this! Gone through a couple of forums, it appears this is rather an issue than to boot your phone every morning, what a joke. I think it's probably the software issue, will reconsider whether to get it when they will do something about this.

Maybe it's user problem... I used mine lte version 2 weeks without issue. Internal ram used always below 1.5gb. But notice it's hotter than s3

Don't like it, don't get it.

TW has it's issue and it's known. TW in SGS4 is a RAM hog. Why many power users still choose to get S4 though, is the SD card slot and the slightly better hardware, since they gonna flash the phone with some ROM, no one would care about stock TW lags.

Also, you could be trying the i9500 variant. In which Octa Exynos is not much of a favour. Something like a test product released by Samsung, no one knows how good it is until months to come. Maybe the problem just emerges earlier.

If you really want to only use stock ROM forever, just get HTC One.

I for one has rooted my i9505 and switched to another launcher, I'm waiting for stable ROMs to flash but right now, even with different launcher, I don't see lags.

Released last week. Check auto update if you haven't root.

Lol, u really dun understand anything bout android, when people playing with the fon, not all apps they exit properly, thus keeping the apps running on the backgroud, not juz s4, even the other day i played with htc one in seng heng, lag like hell, same goes to xperia z display set in sony klcc, if u want to play with s4, u can have mine to play with..

Yup that is one of the new feature I use most. The only thing I don't like is u cannot interact with any of the quick glance icon to go to that app. Need to wait for it to fade, then unlock the phone and go to missed events instead.

I give Nova launcher a try on my S4 and one thing i noticed is that it doesnt drained my battery as fast as when i am on TW launcher. Dont know if its placebo or what.

Thank you for your information. There are some very obscure countries on the list including Kenya, Senegal and Ivory Coast but not Malaysia. They may not even heard of Malaysia. Looks like a long wait.

There's hacked google maps that enables voice turn-by-turn navigation. Otherwise you can try waze, which IMO, provides better navigation than google maps.
