Went to SC.. They charge RM580 for the infamous gorilla glass.. Damn!! I thought gorilla glass is very strong buy why they crack easily !!

They are replacing the entire screen assembly. IINM the glass is bonded to the screen, so you cannot just replace the cracked glass.

Did the RM580 include labor as well?

Hey guys, any idea when Google map turn by turn navigation will come to Malaysia? Singapore already has this since Nov 2012. Google has also released their navigation app for ios. So iphone users are having better features from Google maps than Android users? Kind of like treating your step son better than your own son huh?

Connecting to a WiFi hotspot has nothing to do with Kies. If you are tethering via USB cable you may need Kies but not too sure about this.

Hi guys,

Any Idea where we can get a fully waterproof cover that enables us to use the phone underwater.

Planning to go to a beach side vacation and since S4's camera is quite stunning to say the least  brows.gif , I'm planning to make full use of it.

Your can consider Dicapac WP-C1. Can get around Rm75 per unit.
Allows you to dive as deep as 10 metre underwater, yet use the touch screen.
I'm going to get one for myself.

Nope. Maps are pushing the latest interface (the one that they show in I/O) out to all countries, Turn by Turn navigation to third world countries are the least of their concerns. We are able to use the new Maps Beta, but turn by turn navi isn't available yet so it's gonna be pointless.

Thank you for your information. There are some very obscure countries on the list including Kenya, Senegal and Ivory Coast but not Malaysia. They may not even heard of Malaysia. Looks like a long wait.

Not surprised if they haven't. But no they've definitely heard of us but among the SEA countries, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore are known better so I guess they'll get theirs long before we'll get ours.

Here's to hope that with the recent acquiring of Waze, Google will combine the 2 or at least improve Waze for navigation purpose.

Think you get it cheaper at Publika mall. At least the Slim Armor was only 99RM at Chameleon at Publika.
