Yeah, i was just looking at the pictures till i saw the wheel..and i was thinking..no way he's gonna be playing GT4 that close to the screen. I thought u need perfect eye sight in your line of work? Better be careful.

oh mobius no need to compare lar, at the very least all you need is a tv and a cheap and usable 5.1 speaker setup can already.
I might have a marantz amp, but I'm using creative inspire speakers for the output and as the power source for the woofer |

(blame dev again  )all i know is the 360 definitely is not running on 1028x1024 internally, it's scaled from 480i/480p/720p = i dont know which, can anyone shed us some light on this? anybody having blurry games with their VGA cable? |

My turn to pimp our setup
 Just a little cozy spot for us to waste some time.. note the 360 power brick and step-down converter just behind the TV.  Pioneer PDP-436 43" Plasma, HD mode max res at 1280x768  This TV couldn't display proper reso for the components, dunno why.. that's why i bought the VGA cable for the 360.  I know i shouldn't put the 360 on top of anything else but space is an issue since the folks don't like anything to be out of the tv cabinet T.T Notice how my VGA cable goes into the front portion of the media receiver.. the geniuses at Pioneer thinks that's the only proper place to put the VGA port. ps: don't look at the right side of the cabinet. THERE BE DRAGONS! |

i hv japan, asia, uc and australia discs, i dindt notice any difference in quality. in fact, japan's nfsmw and rr6 discs aren't even coloured, b&w.
ntsc/j japanese and pal (australia) games are also made in singapore, i dont see why the quality should differ from ntsc asia games, it'd actually cost them more to have 2 separate manufacturing processes. |

I know it is strange, but I prefer to play sitting down at my desk rather than in front of the tv. Hence got myself a 19" widescreen LCD instead. heheh .. some monitors i heard even Rm 4k+ dont support VGA.. like my tv. Hand me-down from parents, shop tell them OHH can support VGA, component and composite... and then i read the book when i get it just before got 360.. RGB port! CANNOT BE USED WITH VGA DEVICE

if the LCD is relatively new then go for the LCD, otherwise go for CRT, reponse time is generally better compared to older LCDs

Like this your console is more susceptible to the 3ROD. when i play.. i leave it wide open for air to come and go... Place it in open air position like besides ur tv. BTW.. not enough space to put my xbox beside the TV... |

ron4 i'm only using Logitech Z5500 digital which I bought 4 years ago...it cost me AUD500 ~ RM1500 cos i bought it in aussie when i was studying there. I use it to get 5.1ch for the following:
Optical - Xbox360 and PC (streaming via 360's optical connection) Coaxial - DVD player To me it's comparable to most of the HTIB from Sony n others...it definitely cannot lawan the likes of B&W, JBL and the gang but it's ok considering it is a PC speaker by nature I'm planning to upgrade the sound system n tv but everything is on hold cos i'm in between jobs now.... |

there is 2 option : LCD tv LG 26 inch around 1999.00 LCD tv LG 32 inch around 2300.00 if im not mistaken...the diffrence between that around 300.00... i will go for the 32 inch...worth it |

Here is my setup.. playing on custom 5.1 setup speakers
My LG 37" lcd tv with my KEF center speaker... no money buy bravia.. too expensive. dvd player and Yamaha Amp at the far left. 
My Xbox and my side Jamo speaker. can see the Xplorer beside the speaker
