Whaah I join this thread! I greatly prefer to play in the living room though, got 40" LCD and 5.1 surround, but evenings after work the TV is booked by other family members [edit] Some of you use the word "humble" way wrongly, lol. "Humble setup" with rm20k+ worth of electronics? lol. This post has been edited by deodorant: Mar 17 2008, 09:21 AM

@ GamersFamilia >> If your budget can allow, definitely go for a bigger screen, man. I dunno what the reasons are that you "prefer" 32-incher, but honestly you may find yourself later on wishing you had bought / wishing you could afford to buy a bigger screen.
For me I keep wishing I had bought a 24" LCD instead of 20". Also wish my dad had bought a bigger than 40" for the living room ...

QUOTE(GamersFamilia) and why u prefer LCD monitor ? 24 inch...for me tak puas liew...too small and kena duduk at kerusi computer while playing 360...i like big screen and can duduk on sofa or tilam....more comfort...especially playing 2 players mode with my girl...heheh Hehe LCD monitor is cos double purpose for my PC also mah. If want big screen LCD TV I bring my 360 out to the living room.

QUOTE(aiyish @ May 1 2008, 11:36 PM) i got no money to but expensive tv. this tv pun dah cukup.. Aiyo, 32" LCD if u go for not-so-branded one, damn cheap already leh now ... like rm 1,xxx can get already. Or go for those 0% interest 1-year or 2-year plan ... each month pay 100 bucks only ... For me my LCD I'm paying rm100/mth only for a 37-incher ... [edit] even branded 32" is under 2k already ... e.g. Samsung 32-incher ... honestly as a gamer you won't regret having to sacrifice a bit of other things to get a HDTV one ... it's like a 100% increase in the gaming experience ... QUOTE(GamersFamilia @ May 10 2008, 01:06 PM) well 3rod based on our luck...well ventilation is to prevent 3rod , but when the time comes..then have to accept it Yup. It's all luck imo. My first 360 I never played it without the air-con on and a standing fan blowing directly onto it, but still less than 1 year also 3rrod.

The floor is messy. I'm too lazy to go and pull the speaker wires along the ceiling so I just put it on the floor and cover with carpet ;x Attached thumbnail(s)

walau so damn neat la your wiring ... lol.
Drool @ 7.1 ... the rear right/rear left so near each other, is the separation clear? Also isn't it quite wasted that your big tv / 7.1 not used for pc gaming as well?

19-incher? Don't waste time on such a small screen imo.
