Refresh rate has nothing to do with your screen being dark
Try to adjust settings like brightness, contrast and color. |

QUOTE(UltramanToron @ Jun 29 2006, 12:29 PM) owh.. cuz everytime my comp set 60hz.. the monitor turns dark.. or is it flickering? Increasing refresh rate reduces flickering. With low refresh rate, your eyes can detect the refresh rate, hence giving the preception that the screen is dim due to the slower refresh cycle when the screen goes dim, then bright, the dim again. When you increase the refresh rate, the cycle is too fast for the eye to detect, the image will look better to you so yes, it has nothing to do with increasing brightness, just shortening the period when the screen goes dim when set to 85hz then its nice.. nothin to do ar? only today i know.. lol.. |
