can i know you are using what port?

as i said i am using no. port 20000. but they all said the setting of BT ports only advantages in 6891～6899. But when i go for thid number, i found that totally useless. Thats why i tried to get a bigger number than it.

actually the numbering port is important when you are doing port forwarding.

Can some one let me know whats the suitable no. ports for BT?

What you need is just the torrent seed and the unfinished file (minus the .bc! extension), and do a manual hash check to continue.

Never really tried it though

ok i tried it out -
1. transfer the unfinished file to utorrent download folder and the torrent seed also
2. remove the .!bc file extension
3. launch utorrent
4. check preference/downoad and make sure the append .!ut to unfinish file is uncheck
5. go to add torrent in utorrent
6. browsed to the unfinish torrent seed and select

utorrent would update accordingly but i cannot get it to continue . status just remain 0 seed ..... why?

i download the file to 98% (great huh ) and utorrent will update to 98% complete and i can see the bracketed () peer/seed but available = 0 for both seed/peer. have anyone successfully did this?

Hey dudes, my torrent is not working, i mean the download is not moving, keep staying at 0% only. What could be the problem? Port? Very frustrating, already few days. 

Hmm, but cannot be lare. My Limewire downloads damn good, around 60+ - 70, i'm using 512 package.

Edited: Oh wait, the download just started after waited for 2 damn hours.

Hi... i need some help from all the gurus here. 

I have a Billion BiPAC 5112S acting as router and a D-Link DI-524 connected to the BiPAC to get wireless facilities.

I've run thru all the instruction in Portforward.com for both BiPAC 5112S and DI-524. However, my BitComet still has an 'yellow' circle saying that my listening port is not reachable by the public domain peers.

When I connect my PC directly to the Billion BiPAC 5112S and follow the Portforward.com steps (static IP etc etc), I can get the 'green' circle saying that my listening port is accesible.

Can anyone help me on this matter?? I appreciate all the help I can get. Cheers!

I mean a pop up message by Zone Alarm where there is a connection to established and it ask whether to accept or deny .. not the pop up windows .. adware free/clean for now .. getting update and scan every week using Spybot and Adware SE. So, the connection I mentioned is trying to attack my PC?
