can i know you are using what port?

as i said i am using no. port 20000. but they all said the setting of BT ports only advantages in 6891~6899. But when i go for thid number, i found that totally useless. Thats why i tried to get a bigger number than it.

actually the numbering port is important when you are doing port forwarding.

Can some one let me know whats the suitable no. ports for BT?

i am chinese movie favourite.
*
who said that port is good???
that port is aledi famous with many of bug
plus becoz it is the default port that used by bt
if an isp want to block bt, they can simple block these port

you are suggest to use any port no. that between 49152 and 65534
but other than that also can use
juz make sure dun interfere with other application port

which port famours with many bug?
20000 or 6885-6889?

i am config using 20k port and only get for 10kb at all the time although i have open port and using 1 mb line.

can you help me to solve this problem?

what you mean by dont interfere with application ports?

you set the port forward only for UDP OR TCP OR BOTH?
*
the port that i said got many bugs is 6881-6999

if you aledi did the port forward
and also tweak the settings to the best
then there is nothing much to do
coz you're throttle like all of us in here

dun interfere with other application used port...
mean dun use the port that used by other application (check here)
and in port forward, i set 1 for TCP, and other 1 for UDP (didnt set both)

Theoretically yes

What you need is just the torrent seed and the unfinished file (minus the .bc! extension), and do a manual hash check to continue.

Never really tried it though
*
ya, 'theoretically yes'
but dunno why, my BitComet unfinished file cant use µTorrent to download...
tried 1 times before, failed...
and after i ask other people to do the same things, they also said cant make it

how about kitman try what the samurai1337 said
and tell us the result

QUOTE(kitman @ Jan 1 2007, 02:02 PM)
ok i tried it out -
1. transfer the unfinished file to utorrent download folder and the torrent seed also
2. remove the .!bc file extension
3. launch utorrent
4. check preference/downoad and make sure the append .!ut to unfinish file is uncheck
5. go to add torrent in utorrent
6. browsed to the unfinish torrent seed and select

utorrent would update accordingly but i cannot get it to continue sad.gif. status just remain 0 seed ..... why?
*
you mean that µTorrent connect back with 0 seed or that file remain at 0%
what you want actually??

10053 maybe...how to solve it?
*
is it becoz of your firewall settings??
or maybe router settings...

if you have tried to allow connection in firewall and did port forward, but still experience this problem...
then try other bt client

QUOTE(shahyusri @ Apr 1 2007, 12:27 PM)
Hi... i need some help from all the gurus here.  icon_question.gif

I have a Billion BiPAC 5112S acting as router and a D-Link DI-524 connected to the BiPAC to get wireless facilities.

I've run thru all the instruction in Portforward.com for both BiPAC 5112S and DI-524. However, my BitComet still has an 'yellow' circle saying that my listening port is not reachable by the public domain peers.

When I connect my PC directly to the Billion BiPAC 5112S and follow the Portforward.com steps (static IP etc etc), I can get the 'green' circle saying that my listening port is accesible.

Can anyone help me on this matter?? I appreciate all the help I can get. Cheers!  thumbup.gif
*
what you want us to help about??
if it show green circle, then it mean no problem la

Bt I get kinda curious, in terms of performance, is there really any difference between any clients? Is there really the 'fastest' client compared to others?
*
usually got no different
but it depend for the tracker or the peer too
some will ban certain client that made the speed slow

then those adware will show many popup to you
then took most of the bandwidth...

after that... not only got many popup
it also will make you cant upload and download... sweat.gif

Mmm .. I mean a pop up message by Zone Alarm where there is a connection to established and it ask whether to accept or deny .. not the pop up windows .. adware free/clean for now .. getting update and scan every week using Spybot and Adware SE. So, the connection I mentioned is trying to attack my PC?

TQ  laugh.gif
*
sorry... misunderstood... notworthy.gif
i tot is those ads popup...
since that you also will use other anti-adware software like spybot or adware SE, then it should be no problem.
