Anyone tried this?
How to boot your Android phone or tablet into safe mode for troubleshooting http://www.talkandroid.com/guides/beginner...ng/#more-163649 I tried to long tap the Power option but it doesn't work. I recall seeing some ROMs they have a "Hot Reboot" option, is that similar? |

QUOTE(joytest @ May 31 2013, 02:44 AM) **ANNOUNCEMENT** Survey v3.0 is up for your testing first. Integrates ROM + Kernels, allows selection of DATES for Nightlies or stuff that takes the date for versions. Also includes SOT as a selectable value. Statistics are not yet up, but please try it and DO TELL ME what you think !!!! Survey form here (prefilled some values, that is why the URL is so long): https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1_0Z4xjD65E...ry.1147594433=4 Results list here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key...NXcW51Tnc#gid=2 Poke around and input some test data, any values. hooh888 as a dev can test some boundary values which you think may occur. QUOTE(andrewtho @ Jun 1 2013, 10:46 AM) Flashed Alliance ROM v3 yesterday just before the news of 4.2.2 surfaced. So hopefully by tomorrow can flash stock rom again. 2 roms within 3 days. Oye! Any thoughts on the integrated survey ? I've read people are complaining how to find and get good ROMs but not many are making the small effort to participate. Even some guy on reddit is now trying to compile a master ROM list for all ROMs and devices but I don't think that can work due to no standards for listing of ROMs. Well andrew, appreciate your participation with all your entries. ======================== 4K monitor ANNOUNCED !!! http://www.extremetech.com/computing/15705...for-around-5000 noobi3 This post has been edited by joytest: Jun 1 2013, 11:10 AM |

UPDATE: SERIOUS WTF 3rd time installing already, it is randomly hanging at different parts of the install process. Could it be SDcard screwup?????? Or pending SDS Have done the remove battery thing as well. UPDATE: Used TWRP 2.5.0.1 to copy the file to intSD and installed successfully from there. WTF Sandisk... Damn checked the Download mode everything is official using the signed kernel and TA XDA 2.90. This means I now have the new bootloader. Well... in the process I paid for both TA pro 2.90 and Mobile Odin Pro 3.65.
The Allshare S/W Update keeps getting an FC. I think I'll just forget the Allshare and enjoy my ROM flashing. Phoenix feels pretty nifty. Performing a restore of the nandroid now and will see what to flash next. This post has been edited by joytest: Jun 1 2013, 06:16 PM |

QUOTE(antt00 @ Jun 1 2013, 06:31 PM) QUOTE(((Xa))0102 @ Jun 1 2013, 06:33 PM) I have noticed something. My white cable is sitting nicely in the box unsullied, coz I hate carrying around white colored stuff. I have used the Nokia CA-101 and it is usually about 1.1A, sometimes 1.3 or 1.4. The S3 black cable gets 1.4 or 1.5.With the white stock cable and the stock charger, with ALL of my Note 2s having its charging set at 2000mAH, 100mA margin and disabled the unstable power detector, it's charging at an average of 700mA out of 2A. The cable that came with my Galaxy W, about 1.3A out of 2A Nokia cable, about 1.1A out of 2A. From 16% to 99% (didn't count the last percent since it trickle charges until it's full, hence it takes very long) 83%, 143 mins, average 1.1A per hour. Comments... The cable that came with the Galaxy Trend Duos is very thick and I'm getting from 1.3 to 1.8. Best consistent 1.8 cable is the short convertible one that came with the Yoobao 11200 Long March. |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Jun 1 2013, 07:09 PM) Which battery widgets don't support? This is 3C's Battery Monitor which I have been using from Note 1 days. Very nice selection of values and graphs.QUOTE(antt00 @ Jun 1 2013, 07:11 PM) Yes i have done tweaking. I recommend changing the auto brightness curve. I find aosp default brightness is higher than stock rom thus draining the battery faster. So need to track back your bendy and curvy posts from the last few days? |
