If true, this time Sony will give Note 3 a run for its money:
http://www.phonearena.com/news/More-source...-in-tow_id43515 We've been hearing about the upcoming 6.4" "Togari" phablet by Sony for a while now, and even had an article dedicated to the rumors about it on forum threads back in January. Now two independent sources are claiming what they heard from reps at Sony events in their countries - that the Togari phablet is real, and it sports a huge Full HD display, meant to take on the Galaxy Note III. As far as the speculated stylus silo goes, the Togari is expected to also allow drawing on it with everything, even a pencil. ============ Pencil, I don't think so coz it will leave carbon trails on the screen and the carbon dust WILL SCREW UP YOUR ELECTRONICS. If it has an ACTIVE DIGITIZER + stylus, then it will be a good contender against Note 3. Again, Sony is the Apple of the Android world, and they tend to lock their shit down tight as evidenced by all the postings of "be careful" in the XZ thread. That is extremely distasteful. |

Ok everybody, the Master Kernel Index is compiled
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key...UE&pli=1#gid=18 It is similar in structure to the Master ROM Index. Statistics to come later. I will try to finish off the next survey version. Will merge the current survey with similar choices for kernels and also a freetext field for SOT as a rough indicator. |

**ANNOUNCEMENT**
Survey v3.0 is up for your testing first. Integrates ROM + Kernels, allows selection of DATES for Nightlies or stuff that takes the date for versions. Also includes SOT as a selectable value. Statistics are not yet up, but please try it and DO TELL ME what you think !!!! Survey form here (prefilled some values, that is why the URL is so long): https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1_0Z4xjD65E...ry.1147594433=4 Results list here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key...NXcW51Tnc#gid=2 Poke around and input some test data, any values. hooh888 as a dev can test some boundary values which you think may occur. There is an update to the Exynos problems article. So, it looks like Samsung's chip division has got their panties in a serious twist, and likely no Exynos 64bit coming. Well, this leaves ARM in a sort of bind as well, since I'm sure ARM were dependent on Samsung to push A53/A57 heavily.
Anyway, if Snapdragon can give us good performance and lots of custom ROM support, we can use whatever's the best implementation. So, S800 Note 3 then .... or HTC T6, or Sony Togari .... these are the only 3 phones with possible similar specs and active digitizers. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ May 31 2013, 11:53 PM) Fuh, good news if it is true. An increase in flashoholic behaviour again? Just to quote for the benefit of others. "We have received many emails via sources (Not going to mention them) suggesting that Android JB 4.2.2 for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 is incoming and could come within the next 48 hours, we have emailed Samsung and other sources to verify this and have not had any replies just yet." I'm also waiting, and there will be another flurry of activity on XDA. However, in general news is slow the last 3 days from all over. |
