What is actually the problem with KIS for others, I don't get it. Well at the very least KIS didn't interfere with my internet... could it be misconfiguration?

Neither do I, I never have to change any of my AV solutions settings, everything is default. biggrin.gif

It's partially impossible to install 3AV's and have them to run simultaneously, it'll say that there's a conflict. doh.gif Trust me, I know, I tried it.

Threatfire is supposed to be used in a mission-critical server environment, not home.
It's technically a HIPS (Host Intrusion Prevention System), not an antivirus.

Think of HIPS as a bodyguard. Are you a celeb or just a nobody that needs no bodyguard?
Don't bog down your PC with unnecessary software.
