May I know if KIS will work side by side with Spyware Doctor? Or perhaps other software? Btw, if I have KIS, can I install Windows Defender too? Or I just stick to KIS alone...^^;;
*
1st quote answer:
Thanks man, have you tried it?
2nd quote answer:
I'm currently using KIS with Windows Defender.

If WD = Windows Defender, there's no harm having it as it should not cause conflicts, not experiencing any conflicts on my side.

May I know what version of KIS did you install, if it doesn't work. Please re-install the anti-virus.

But i'm not saying free is bad XD i don't mind both, as long as it has functions.

Read the other posts. Norton may slow your computer down.

*
Would you go through a reinstallation process of KIS? Maybe your firewall, make sure you allow IE7 full access through KIS.

You misinterpreted my message, I asked him would you dare to go through the process of reinstalling KIS. If he does it may fix it.

What is actually the problem with KIS for others, I don't get it. Well at the very least KIS didn't interfere with my internet... could it be misconfiguration?
*
Neither do I, I never have to change any of my AV solutions settings, everything is default. biggrin.gif

Go for Avira AntiVir, better than Avast and also free.............

BTW i had 3 AV installed....

All freewares..................
cool.gif  cool.gif  cool.gif

It's partially impossible to install 3AV's and have them to run simultaneously, it'll say that there's a conflict. doh.gif Trust me, I know, I tried it.

dun realy like free stuff... can try affordable antivirus... I think PC Fair is great place to shop..
*
If you don't really like free stuff, then allow me to introduce Norton Internet Security 2009. It's light on resources but expensive. Or may I recommend Kaspersky Internet Security 2009, it's heavier on resources but dirt cheap (RM10). tongue.gif

Never used norton for ages, might want to try kaspersky IS2009. Where did u buy it for rm10?
*
She said "norman" even though I think it's "Norton". My friends acquired Kaspersky Antivirus 2009 for RM10 from a seller in LYN Forum in Garage Sales. It's currently working for them. Use "Search".

Added on December 5, 2008, 11:38 pmPS: He's selling only the serial number, you can download KAV/KIS '09 installers/setup files from Kaspersky official website. Also can update and use for 1 year (12 months).

Hi, I need some help guys.. which 1 of this are reliable? Comments and suggestions please.. Choices:

1. Kaspersky IS 2009
2. Norton IS 2009
3. AVG 8.0?

Thanks in advance.
*
If you've got a lower-specs computer, I'd recommend Norton IS '09 because of it's much reduced demand for resources. If you've got higher-specs computer and have got the performance to spare then I'll recommend Kaspersky IS '09. My reason for KIS'09 is because I've never had false positives and it detects viruses very well.

Avira Antivirus should be good. I haven't tried it but read a few reviews regarding it's performance to value ratio.

Yep. RM0 to RM10 is nothing compared to the differences in the level of protections you get.

Agree with you, besides, RM10 is just like not eating a dish for lunch. wink.gif
