AVIRA Tops those 2? Of course! It has quite a comprehensive Viral Database. Arguably, almost like Kaspersky and BitDefender.
Cheers!

System Volume Information, you mean.
If it is so, no worries. Those Files will NOT run as they are only System Restore Backups. To remove those files, Disable THEN RE-ENABLE System Restore. Cheers! |

Putting it simply, Just Disable and Reenable System Restore. You don't to scan in between. When you disable System Restore, It will Clear its Cache, thus removing the Malware.
ESET rarely has FPs from my experience. In fact, its heuristics is very accurate. If you need further assistance, I would suggest you register in a malware Disinfecting forum and seek help there. A HijackThis Log posted there would speed up the process. Cheers! |

I used to have 4 AVs running in my computer: F-Prot (lousy), Avast, AntiVir and NOD32. It was stable.
I tried Norton + AntiVir + NOD32 too. Works fine. It depends on the software Combo. Well, if you would try NOD32 last, it is not for me to decide or comment, though I just find it a pity. Cheers to all! |

Dear all,
I am new to this kind of thing. Just want to ask on how to buy NOD32 apart from the website? kind of too expensive for me. OEM one should suffice.. Currently using BitDefender Total Security 2008 but it slows down my computer. Previously using avast! home edition but some virus, spyware, malware, worn could panetrated my system. I just realize this matter after I scan the pc wif bitdefender while avast! is still protecting on the background/system tray. Thanks in advance |
