The latest Comodo Internet Security Premium (free) with Proactive Security mode scored 97% success rate in Matousec Proactive Security Challenge 64 test.

Beside Kaspersky, lots of paid version performed much more worse in this test.

Fortinet FortiClient is free of charge. Passed all major independent test with very good detection and protection rate.

This is how to Test your antivirus without a actual virus, create a text file and paste the following.

CODE
X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*

That probably means that Bitdefender is a bit heavy for your computer,
you can revert back to Trendmicro if you're concern about slow boot up though.

You should try the NOD32 or ESET Smart Security. Low memory usage, quite fast. I ditched AVG Free for ESET Smart Security. Not only fast but take less memory. Best for gaming rclxms.gif

I am using it now. Cheap - RM 28 for 3 PC and 3 Android. Low memory. You buy and you download ESET Smart Security. If you use laptop, it got Anti Theft. YOU CAN TRACK YOUR LAPTOP and take the picture of the people that steal your laptop.

Pretty cool....

I have been using quick heal (don't see that on your list) for the last one year & run malwarebytes often. Both of them work well.
