I get same message also after reg for interest. I am considering Celcom as their package is a little bit cheaper, but after reading some of the reviews, looks like Celcom having some restriction on browsing. Apparently, I have registered for Unifi at TMPoint while still considering Celcom or astro +Maxis broadband. Not sure if I have put thumbprint for Unifi registration, is it possible to cancel before their installation?

Can try test with servers in other regions?

Mainland China, Europe and US?

Heard Celcom has excellent connectivity into China via China Mobile peering.

Try switching the test server in Ookla speedtest to Guangdong China Unicom/Telecom 5G test servers.
Beijing and Shanghai test servers too. Try selecting China Mobile servers.

Also try testing with servers in Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Switzerland, London and Sweden.

Celcom got 50M fibre plan? I though that's DiGi's Home Fibre plan.

Celcom's plan is similar to Maxis. 30M/30M symmetrical

Given a choice between Celcom or Digi fibre, which one will you choose? I may choose 100Mbps and the price difference between these two providers is minimal or should I opt for Celcom 300Mbps? I'm just using it alone. laugh.gif I just need a stable temporary connection for few months (up to one year probably) until TIME officially enters my condo which they told me they require some time. I understand either Celcom or Digi will only have one time RM 500 early termination fees, so I will choose either one.

Similar with my situation last time.. I did approach Digi first because of their 500Mbps nicely price. Celcom that time only have 30 and 100Mbps.

Since my case a bit complicated, Digi not really entertain me. Only Celcom patient enough to help me with TM birocracy. Thats why i choose Celcom.

I just cancelled unifi before installation and choose celcom home fiber 30 mbps due to cheaper price and better router given I supposed... And previously I was using Celcom home wireless with 2 years contract as well, now change to fiber according to sales assistant, can waive the contract penalty, really win win situation. Hopefully Celcom home fiber come with better service and the router is good enough to cover whole house .

Hello sifu2 here. want to ask about the celcom fibre specifically celcom timur since im from sabah. Is the connectivity good? stable upload and download?

I have 3 option which is unifi/maxis/celcom. I already used maxis here but terminate cuz brother already got new house so now im thinking of going to celcom because of the price. Only thing keeping me away is of some of the review saying frequent connection problems and unstable connection. if celcom was to use tm infra then i have no doubt as it would all be the same but here it uses the celcom timur one. Any sifu here got experience with it?

Good to hear that. I will decide which one to get but seems like Celcom may have better connectivity to overseas server. A lot of my devices require to be connected to China, I guess Celcom may be a better choice?

For your guide,
From the first four column is the ping latency of LAST ping, Average ping , Best ping , Worst ping.

Celcom fiber ping latency to china.

Maxis fiber ping latency to china.

the only benefit using Celcom is connection to China mobile are very good becos they have direct peering and the rest are up and down due using different routing via NTT transit.

Thanks for sharing this, it is helpful. Looks like most probably I will go for Celcom unless Digi gives me a huge discount as I'm currently their customer.
