IMHO, The changes will take place for all merchants come Aug 1st 2013.
Especially after TreatsFair, TP expiry date, new Rewards page on M2U
All of the above are "signs" of impending TP inflation.
*
Thanks for the heads-up, maybe I should just redeem some vouchers...

guys, i plan to buy ipad soon, so i am planning to redeem my TP with some vouchers. still thinking whether to go with senq, jusco or HV. afaik, senq and jusco force customers to buy cover, and i might not want it but not sure about HV, anyone with experience buying ipad from HV?
*
I bought iPod Touch in HV with on-the-spot vouchers redemption+cash top up.
Friend bought iPad from them with cash.

So far no issue for us.

my only concern is if they would force customers to buy something extra, like extra warranty or accessories etc. so far i know jusco and senq do that.
*
Nah. Not at all.
I bought mine from Mid Valley's HV.
Friend bought it at Ikano, no issue.

You can try that outlet and the on-the-spot TP redemption is convenient.

The minimum requirement for maybank 2 cards is rm36000 per annum which comes about rm 2500 a month. But what if, my basic salary is 2225 but i have overtime and every month my net pay is definitely rm 2800 and above. Will i be eligible for this card?
*
It is RM 30,000 not RM 36,000. If 36,000 that will be 3,000 per month.

If your over time is fixed, then you may try. smile.gif

21k TP? Got mine for 20k = rm100 at Gardens Midval on the spot.

And is it really 21k?What if by the time your application for redemption is processed, the points has been revised. Will it still be the same? I asked this question to the CS yesterday during my redemption.
*
According to this catalogue, it does show 21k for RM 100.

5k basic that shows on your payslip. I tried twice for platinum but not successful because basic + fixed allowance lower than 5k, although including total annual salary is above 60k.
*
5k basic is not the same as basic + fixed allowance. That is gross. smile.gif

Not worth at all. My boss asked me to buy shopping vouchers instead.
And I want to utilize weekends 5% cash rebate. blush.gif

Depending on the amount you want to purchase, you should try call up to check on the Aeon store you plan to go.
Due to festive holidays, there maybe many who purchase vouchers to give to family/friends also.
*
Just going to purchase RM 850 but it's OK, I will be there no matter what, so will just hop in and see if there is any stock. biggrin.gif

Yes, it is GST and not waived.
It used to be only 10k TP but has increased to 12.5k TP this month.

I'm slightly confused...Maybank 2 Cards is actually application for 2 physical card, one for AMEX and another for Mastercard?
I read through the details and it seems to emphasize more on AMEX. Is it cuz it has better benefits?

So the max cap of rebate is RM50 for each card or only one? Thanks!
*
You didn't read much, everything is on 1st post. nod.gif
1. The benefits of two cards, Maybankard 2 American Express® Card and Maybankard 2 MasterCard or Visa Card, in one sign up, one service tax, and one statement.
2. Enjoy a low Finance Charge of 8.88% p.a. on your outstanding retail balance.
3. 5x TreatsPoints for every Ringgit spent on Maybankard 2 American Express Card and 1x TreatsPoint on Maybankard 2 Mastercard/Visa Card in Malaysia or anywhere else in the world.
4. 5% Weekend cash back when spend on Maybankard 2 American Express Card capped at RM50 per customer (including Supp Cardmember) per month.
5. Lifetime Fee Waiver with complimentary supplementary cards.

Yes, you get two physical cards. AmEx is heavily emphasized because of point #3 and point #4.

Only one - AmEx.
