i sent past 3 month payslip + epf (online printed) to the email mbbcardservices@maybank.com.my then after 2 days, receive acknowledgement email, 2 weeks received sms said CL permanently increase success.

today just go KLCC maybank branch to apply for this card, but customer service(sit table one) there told me that my basic salary not yet reach 2.5K and require me to bring my degree cert and 6 months bank statement, although my basic salary 2.1K + allowance alrdy exceed 2.5K. And she don't look really friendly when i asking more about it. Anyone can advice on it? I thought i already work 3 years and no more in fresh graduate level but still require to see my degree cert? I alrdy prepare my epf statement to prove i earn more than 2.5K per month but she did not ask for it.

few months ago i cancel the card because the card is like my water pipe... so was lucky to get some side income to cover it thats why my as well cancel it lor...

now its very hard for me to apply new cards because technically im not working for anyone so my monthly income is not really official,  sometimes high sometimes low i dont really have a consistant salary. But since mbb offering by reactivate and i can choose any card i like so my as well get some opinion form all the taiko here

i think i din get the full sept rebate bcoz transaction on 31st aug was not considered under sept transaction. anyone experiencing the same thing?

Maybank really troublesome to get increase in CL. I myself also cannot get increase in CL because got no payslip but MBB without fail always accommodate my request for increase in temporary CL   

On the other hand, Citibank keep offering my wife higher credit limit but in view of BNM guideline, Citibank cannot increase it without her consent. Last year they call her to offer the increase in CL for her PremierMiles VS and she rejected it. Today got a letter from Citibank again offering my wife increase in CL and accepting the offer by her simply sending them a SMS. And the thing is, they want to increase her CL to almost as high as mine and my wife got no income and Citibank is well aware of that because when she applied the card she stated that she is a housewife!!!  FYI, my wife applied for her Citi PremierMiles VS when she had CitiGold status 2 years back.

wad other insurance accepts Amex?

Unless you can use Amex on weekend to get the 5% rebate otherwise only earns 2x TP.

Is the AMEX card good for online purchase from overseas? example ebay or amazon... is the exchange rate also bad?
