temperature doesn't solved in 505 modded version.
Just use "coretemp" to measure your temperature.

go for 505.RH, its good.
Using it now.

isshhh... coz im using SMART mode to control over the cpu fan, if i flash to 505 bios , my cpu fan will operate in 600 RPM -800 RPM... dun feel like wanna tune the PWM/ value thingy oso bcoz i adi feel very hate when i saw the fake temperature.

oh ya, how u flash to 505 .RH, can flash it by using winflash in windows?

Aiya, really can use 20pin PSU. Then old PSU can work on this mobo. Should tell my friend soon.

smart mode highly affect overclockability.
disable it if u OC.

just use 5v or 7v for the fan, then u can use 505RH bios.

Why bother about the temperature? I never take a look at it as I know its always around 50c. lol

I flash bios using floppy drive.

i purposely raise this thread up for the reason to clear my doubt

for 6100am2 user, anyone try b4 the latest bios? CR51A131 which released on 2007/1/31

Damn with this version of bios i can't even play warcraft 3 TFT . I'hv encounter laggy screen when i tried to load war3.

I'm wondering what happened to Biostar? Every version of their BIOS CONFIRM has some problems , either minor or serious bug.

oh yeah, can someone pls try it? To prove that i'm not the only one, thanks laugh.gif

i'm not biostar tforce 6100 user but still biostar mobo owner (tforce 570U), the thing is i'm also encounter same problem as @dblooi sumtimes when i play warcraft the screen become laggy and straight need to close it.. rclxub.gif

isit bios that make this happen?

what i suspect here is that this game(Warcraft3) not fully support X2 proc since i open my Task manager and see the war3.exe didn't use any CPU resources rclxub.gif

bro zamree7,

i think ur case is caused by other reason , for me im sure is the new bios caused my onboard GPU overheated ( overheat? i guess so). now i already swapped back to older version of BIOS, so far so good

remember.... If you already enable SOYO Enet, after that you go to BIOS resetting & save the configure, you need to press 'HOME' key to login SOYO Enet menu again when you start-up... SOYO Enet will ask you wanna save CMOS setting or not... you need to enter to confirm. If not, your system will automatic restart like overclocking fail... doh.gif
