QUOTE(face @ Nov 12 2013, 02:42 PM) Guys this rig ok bo ? i am plan to buy it . Advise needed From what it looks, you obviously want to overclock this rig.Processor : i7 4770 (3.40Ghz 4 core) or 4770k Motherboard : MSI Z87-G41 Memory Ram : G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 Video Card : MSI R9 290x battle 4 edition Hard Disk Drive : WD OR SEAGATE 3tb Solid State Drive : Kingston 120 gb Power Supply Unit : Cooler master gx series 700 watt PC Chassis : cooler master silencio 550 CPU Cooler : Cooler master hyper 103 Optical Drive : Asus DVD-RW or Processor :i7-4770k Motherboard : GA.Z87M-D3H Memory ram : G.Skill Ares 2133mhz 4GBx4 Swiftech H220 120GB Crucial M500 SSD 3TB AVGP HDD Zotac GTX780 AMP! Edition 3GB LG DVD RW 24x Rosewill Tachyon 650W Fractal Design Arc Mini R2 and imo, i5 is already enough for gaming, these cpu i think is an overkill even before OC. 8GB is always enough for gaming, unless you going to use for photo/video editting. and performance RAM doesnt give much boost in your gaming experience better get MSI R9 290 best value card so far. EDIT: so for video/phoyo editting, i guess these would be an easy work This post has been edited by CheaTeRz: Nov 12 2013, 02:59 PM |

QUOTE(zacharyseng @ Nov 12 2013, 02:56 PM) yeap, it wont effect in game performance. I just add there because there is not much space for R9 290 + better PSU. you could remove SSD if you don't want it. just 1 thing I want to say, once you go SSD you won't wanna go back to normal HDD for loading/boot speed This post has been edited by CheaTeRz: Nov 12 2013, 03:02 PM |

R9 290 is definitely better value than R9 290X. Its performance is on par with 290X's "quiet" mode already. According to reviews, the noise level is definitely on the higher side. gaming when i'm free.. work station for photoshop , ilustrations , and also supporting two screen one is for movie for the kids while the other screen is working on other .. might be surfing , might be gaming , might be working. will be updating the pc next 5 year .. so i need something that last .. |
