Thanks for the reply. Do you happen to know if the Corsair 1600 MHz Value Ram will perform comparably with the Corsair Vengeance 1600 MHz CL.9 Pair?

And does the Value Ram support dual channel or is the Dual Channel dependent on Chipset rather?
*
You will only see come difference in real life when using some software like maya with performance ram vs value ram. Most of the case, capacity of ram is more likely to affect the speed together with processor.

Dual channel depending on motherboard, while most mobo nowadays support dual channel memory so no worry.

why is it that Zotac's GTX 760 cost only 799 when MSI's and ASUS costs 1200 (jayacom pricing) ?

is it different in term of performane?
*
RM799 is the reference card, While other brands with RM1200 most likely are custom design/layout with same nvidia chip gtx760 but pre-OC.

*"NEVER SETTLE FOREVER" only applicable to new series of AMD cards iinm. For never settle bundle, u need to ask from sellers.
No opnion yet, since the cards not even released, no benchmarks or comparisons too. If u need a PC immediately for working, I will say buy the lower end GPU first and see how's the performance from new series of AMD then decide the upgrade options when u get more budget.

**There's no fact that AMD build is always cost efficient than Intel. The fact for now is: Intel is leading.

***Performance ram doesnt help much or show much different/improvements even in benchmarks. Stick with value rams to save your wallet.

Need sifus here.

Intel core I3 3220
Gigabyte B75M-D3V
4 GB DDR3 ram
500GB harddisk
DVD
Casing ATX
Power supply 500w

this rig RM12xx..

Looking for a pc with normal rig.
just normal use for surf internet, movie and youtube.
Any better suggestion?
*
The spec looks decent for your usage. For power supply, try consider FSP Hexa 500W RM149.
Not sure what's the ATX casing u are getting, the total cost i calculated is approximately RM1060(FSP Hexa 500W included) without casing.

postage too heavy,cost a bomb sad.gif
I'm from KK sabah sad.gif my local store 300R without window=RM275,the price okay? sad.gif
*
Yup, the price is quite acceptable. In Kuching Sarawak the price is around RM285~300 for window/normal version.

QUOTE(Quantum_thinking @ Sep 30 2013, 09:29 PM)
A very important reminder for you is to remember to ask your seller to measure based on dimension rather than weight. If your casing is bigger, it will be "heavier" if measure using dimensions.

300R is a casing i like very much among corsair casings, but without window? never seen 1 before till now.
*
300R do have both with mesh and window version. Window version usually RM10 or 20 expensive than mesh one.
Window version do have more flex than mesh one due to the big acrylic window.

Thanks for the clarification smile.gif By the way dude,Cooler master scout 2 advanced cable management compare to corsair 300R,is it far bad than the 300R? personally I more like towards the cooler master scout 2 advanced but nobody at the forum recommend it sad.gif so I afraid is there anything wrong there sad.gif
*
Either one of them are good imo.
cable management for both cases are ok, in the end still depend on how user manage themselves most of the time.
no ppl suggest doesn't mean it is bad, just casings are so many type of design. so different ppl sure have different preference in design.

Personally much toward simple design casings, such as Silverstone PS07, Arc Midi/Mini R2, 300R, etc.

[Game or software that use frequently] downloading software or maybe Filezilla

[Personal Preference Brand] none (cheaper but reliable)

I can tell it is impossible to build an itx rig with only RM500 of budget.
Good luck if u can find anything cheap components.

Hi, can anyone suggest me a rig based on these,

[Budget] RM700-900

[Purpose] Just websurfing + movies and music listening.

[Monitor resolution] full HD reso. Already got the monitor.

[Game or software that use frequently] Most web-browsers, if able to handle light gaming is a plus.

[Personal Preference Brand] Please suggest. None in my head.  tongue.gif

[Location] KL or Penang

Is it possible to make a mini size rig with this budget or better for normal casing? (I prefer mini size rig though)  biggrin.gif  Thanks.
*
Try

Intel duo core G2020 RM174
MSI H61M-P31 RM155
Kingston 4gb ram RM109
Seagate 500gb HDD RM159
FSP Hexa 500W RM149
XIGMATEK HELIOS 231/ 232 Casing RM109

Total RM855

*Due to budget constraint, its really hard to minimalize your rig if u plan to go for itx build.

The above is mid tower right? If I chose to get normal sized, is there any difference in term of price? Can I addon GPU in future on the motherboard?
*
The casing is mATX size, slightly smaller than mid tower.
Casing price is different from a lot of aspects like expand features, mobility, build quality, size etc.
Yes u can add GPU on the motherboard in future as long as your power supply can support.

Ok, about the motherboard, it supports SATA2 only, which means I can't use WD hdd? (Most are SATA3).
*
HDD with sata3 labeled is marketing gimmick. HDD still runs on 3gb/s speed even though u connect it to sata3 port.
For mobo that support sata3 6gb/s interface, maybe ASROCK B75M-DGS RM199 or MSI B75MA-P45 RM229.

Yup, future upgrades... Who knows if you want to go AMD R9-290X later on? brows.gif
Did you consider the Prodigy M?  It's like the mATX version of the OG Prodigy. tongue.gif
*
I have see some unboxings and reviews about mATX prodigy. Its cable management kinda bad although it can fit many things.
Which in the end kinda leads me toward TJ08 if i plan to go SFF build hmm.gif .

So, I should upgrade SSD instead of processor or motherboard ?
*
I would suggest upgrade to Intel i3, better processor will help your photoshop a little.
128gb should be enough for essential programs, video/other files stored at 1TB HDD flex.gif .

Sorry about it sad.gif because I saw there don't have the gigabyte model sad.gif

By the way, sapphire product only carries two year warranty right? sad.gif is there a lot of problem for sapphire gpu after two years of usage?
*
Yes, Sapphire only offer 2 years.
So far Sapphire still a reputable brand as AMD cards manufacturer for quite a long time.
No ones can say how long it would last, longer warranty time doesn;t mean product will last longer actually.
Sometimes a product gives 5 yrs warranty, but it keep on failing and u need to repeat the procedure of claiming will be much tiring lol.

Yup, it should be able to run it since your PSU can provide 500W true power.
Here's the power consumption chart of the card:

quite expensive the monitor  shocking.gif  psu 500w is enough to handle games like dota2? my fren told me, it will get hot. any suggestion? isit possible to upgrade the other things? such as mobo? they said mobo must be top priority in making pc?
*
You may downgrade the monitor to 21.5" one, but probably be TN panel with around still RM400 price tag.
Spec listed is enough to handle max graphic setting at 1080p. More answers as posted above ady.
