I think not much issue for me to go HK Disneyland from Macau and ferry things now, as long as I reach Central HK then should be quite firmed already coz just follow the MRT to Tung Chung then change to Disney's MRT. Since not much different on ferry fare, then only compare it when the time I want to buy tickets there smile.gif Thanks for all the inputs and suggestions, I really appreciate all your helps biggrin.gif

About the currencies...some people said just bring HKD to Macau will do, no need MOP also fine coz all shops in Macau accept HKD and its currency's value is slightly higher than MOP but treat 1:1, so it's more welcome in Macau, true? Coz thinking not to bring 2 types of currencies in Macau, very troublesome, thinking to bring HKD only since I'm going to HK also and maybe casinos as well tongue.gif Any advise?
*
as a frequent traveller to macau, i always bring HKD only, the money changer here always give me big notes doh.gif never encounter any problem. and if there is, can be sorted out easily i guess. never able to exchange to MOP in malaysia so dont bother anymore since then.

so when we pay bigger HKD notes, the shop will give back small note/change in HKD also? if they give us MOP, can we say no or not? hmm.gif

most will return back in HKD, and if they dont, you can request for it smile.gif if there is one or two that refuse, just spend the MOP at the next stop.

ok...all ferry companies will stop at same HK ferry terminal, right? which ferry company's fare is cheapest? Coz checked TurboJET, weekday's day ticket HKD140, night ticket (after 6pm) is HKD175.
nt all ferry will stop at the same terminal. there is 2 terminal in HK.

1. HK Macau Ferry Terminal
2. HK China Ferry Terminal

and 2 terminal in Macau as well

1. Macau Taipa Ferry Terminal
2. Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal

it depends on where u wan to depart n where u wan 2 arrive.. usually ppl will choose to depart from HK Macau Ferry Terminal n arrive at Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal due to the sailing time is more frequent n the terminal in Macau Outer Harbour Ferry has more free shuttles to those hotel nearby attractions. Where as Macau Taipa Ferry Terminal is residing at the Taipa area.. usually it's convenient for those who wanna go to Venetian/City Of Dreams

actually the fares for those ferry companies r more or less the same.. jz tat some is slightly higher abit only..

for those planning their trip during that quarter, its sure worth your stay in macau for this international firework thing. do expect hotel rate +20% too.

i did so in 2010, over two saturdays.. if its south korea's show on that nite, then lucky you!! damn drool.gif go with the best cam you can get. u can see many pros setting up their tripods as earlt as 7pm for the best spot.

there will be street festival with lotsa makan minim just next to macau tower.
