QUOTE(lingleeyen @ Jun 26 2013, 05:44 PM)
If we are not denying AZ'a ability in selling you the car, there is no need to take out the sticky on the first page IMHO. He does deliver your car without hassle. No one complained about his sales. Some of us somehow hate his SC but I still see people going there when I was there 3 times (for other purposes other than servicing). We could put on another sticky with dates on where to service our car, with our experience shared.

I personally see no benifit in this end to end service if what have been warned did not improve. Yes, he earned your comission because he is worth it. He delivers your car. On time. But if his SC sucked, I am not going there so that he can't earn my money from labour and parts (engine oil, ATF are all super marked up). If no one goes, his SC is going to lingkup.

I personally feels that if in one restaurant for example, the chicken is best of the rest, but his tofu and vege sucked, I am still going there for my chicken. I just don't order the tofu and vege.

If you have been warned, and you still go there for servicing because you believe in principle, then you are either very hard headed, plain dumb or forgotten that we have rights to choose. Complain kao kao and spread the words of the bad attittude in here so that every one can take note. That is what we are doing now. If this goes on without improvement/ rectification, his SC is going to close down, and by that time he only does sales. So by that time, are you still going to buy car from him?

Well, my personal opinion la hah...No offence. My principle too.
*
This is what I see in other perspective (humbly) .

I do agree with your principle too.

In my daily work sometimes (rather most of the time) I'll have to inform others (customer) that not everything is covered under the job/position scope that would lead to bad remarks/services/qualities.

Imagine if a SC can meet all your issues and resolved it, then what is the meaning of a car manufacturer? Design problematic cars? Not only to say if the parts are not well built to design/specification, would you spoil a brand because of it?

Apart of our cars are CKD, we have to understand that not everything will be perfect.

I would definitely agree with having principles is not wrong or entirely right but still we have to give and take. smile.gif

biggrin.gif LOL'ed at the Chicken, ToFu and Vege story, but you have made an extremely good point here.

I agree that the sales and service is somewhat a separate issue. It's just that during the sales talk (pre-signed agreement+deposit), it was mentioned to me that the 3S Center is a place offering good service and with discount if I should purchase the vehicle from the SA.

Anyways, I'll be making serious considerations and switch my designated SC to somewhere else (Kinrara or Glenmarie).

I have really been into a shop with nice deep fried chicken but with extremely bad tofu (too much corn starch), bad vege (too watery). Bring you there the next time.

I do hope that they have one dragon service. All taken care by him but I do realise that nothing is perfect. We do know that he is giving discount (20% ??) for the 1st 3 service. I did not go there because I read some comments here.

Tracking back the threads, your sharing stopped me from going there in the first place. TQVM. I was in Kinrara instead.

Question here. KIA Cerato (K3) will be released this coming July 2013. Is that mean The Forte will be totally obsoleted and no more in production line?

If you know good mechanic then OK. I sent my wife myvi to outside mechanic. They are just rojak simply pasang cap ayam brand spart parts and gave me problem. Of course cheaper. Later, end up I have to send back to perodua and fix everything. RM100-200 more expensive but give me rest in peace.

Absolutely agree with u bro. In my case, if i did sent my car to outside mechanic, i will buy all original parts by myself (which is usually cheaper). So in this case, i will save my money on cheaper ori parts & cheaper labour. The only thing that i might miss if i send my car to outside mechanic is the engine diagnostic & tuning (if needed).

However, most probably i will stick with SC for now..peace of mind as u said tongue.gif

Can any 2.0 driver share a stock idling rpm?
*
About 800rpm during cold start (about 1 minute after ignition) & about 600rpm when the engine is warm enough or after after a drive.

Yes... they're my best mechanic since 2004...
They solved my wife kancil issue where perodua kenot solve.
Perodua reason is bcoz the gearbox has been converted frm manual to auto... Stupid reason...

This is my current reading after I have added in Potent Booster. Yet to be sure if it affects the rpm reading.

Cold start at P - 1.5k RPM
After less than 10 sec at P - 1k RPM
In D after engine warm up at iddle - 800 rpm
In N or P after engine warm up at iddle - 600 rpm

All other RPM during car moving in all different speed is normal. The only abnormality I observed after installing PB is the cold start (higher than the before 1.2k or 1.3k), and idling at N/P after engine warmed up (lower than the before 700).

the engine design also plays an important role in which octane level fuel to use. if the engine is designed not at the high compression ratio, you pump ron100 also waste $ only.

tongue.gif I somehow feels the same for K5 and Sonata. Sonata is more, curvy, woman-ish.
