Awesome bro  rclxms.gif

I tried it today at Sephora too... wow you are so good at describing the scent! Opening I get boozy rum.. then the heart is dark, bitter sweet leather with something smell like rubber or plastic (I'm not the fan of this part.. kinda synthetic to my untrained nose).. and the dry down is soft chocolate woody (very nice).. and the bottle is absolutely gorgeous..
*
Haha thank you... No lah just that I'm very familiar with this kind of scent tongue.gif ur nose consider very advance edi hehe... I like the top n bottom and love the mid....

Yes indeed the bottle make my git into shame... Creed bottle haih

Habit Rouge Sport at RM110. Anyone is getting it?
*
Saw it this morning and I passed this deal... The ori edp is the best of all HR but still not my cup of tea except for LIDGE which even so less picked up by me due to the overload of patchouli

Meanwhile as my journey for floral scent continues... I decided to stop by at Crabtree and Evelyn nearby my office for a quick sniff and I ended up with tarocco orange body spray and iris edt for less than 250 lol

The orange is blood orange, sweet juicy and green... And it give sort of very natural feel to it...in fact it can compete with some of the oranges in the market notably Hermes orange vert, atelier orange sanguine, frederic Malle bigarade Concentree which cost like 10-15% of those mentioned... I use this to scent my room, bed, pillow lol..

Performance wise.... I don't really care, as and when I wan to feel energised, I just spray liberally as I like lol

100ml for less than 60 lol nod.gif

As for the iris... It is well made... Buttery powdery iris met with woody musk drydown... It is economical compare to the chanels irises lol

I'm really amazed with the price-to-quality ratio of this house...

Now now now dear gurus here might think I am over hype some house which is very under the radar... What if I tell u, based on my still consider noob nose... Their following reminds me of alternatives to some super niches:-

Sevillian Neroli edc - it is basically Tom Ford Neroli Portofino in edc concentration.. Super kaw kaw neroli. Well NP is edp and the performance also equally dubious as well lol... My next buy lol...

Hungary Water - heeley Menthe Fraiche.. Opening u got this sweet thick Teh'o pudina and then drydown become cold spearmint tea lol... I would say this is Menthe Fraiche Eau Fraiche lol coz only the top is identical then drydown is in the same direction, mint tea

Verbena et lavender - it is Amouage Ciel Man without frankincense... U got the tart lemony lavender lol

Another WoW factor which is not from the super niches or mass designers, I'm getting those soon lol...

Hey guys, I bought my perfume yesterday. Didn't settle for Chanel de Bleu, got the Chanel Allure Homme Edition instead, anyone care to share some reviews? I got it because I like how light the scent was after a period of time..

Photo attached with the post. Feel free to share your thoughts. I kinda felt Chanel de Bleu was too strong for me..

Nice purchase u got there.... well BdC was my 1st chanel blind buy which i like it and even got compliments from young married ladies tongue.gif incense and grapefruit make it very safe office scent... Allure series... i prefer this one :-

Pure Citrus juice heaven... so natural and it comes in 150ml bottle... it is a cheaper version of Chanel Eau de Cologne Les Exclusif... i also like AHS and EB just that they are a tad too sweet for my likings...

Agree with u bro.. Slowly acquisition and add in collection wink.gif
Can't blind buy especially in Niche fragrance.. Or else later backside kena "Burn"

laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

yea... i am really grateful and no regrets to dive into the realm of niches, i can say most of them are really well constructed and the quality of the oils they use really far superior... and such experience grew my nose to appreciate nice scent from both designer and niche sides.

you will be amazed there are designers which are close to niche worthy for instance Guerlain's LIDGE (they can just give it a new name and bottle it exclusively like SDV), Dior Homme / Intense (easily can go into their Private collection line), etc and the designers are slowly catching up to the niches where now there are more ouds and black frag from them... To be honest im am wow by Gucci and Vercase, those follow my post will know why tongue.gif

hence for the past 2 weeks i re-discover some of the higher-end designers and i am very happy that i did that... which sparks me to complete some of the must have designers that i personally believe...

im not meaning that designers are worth having than niche, there are niches that i wanted badly... they called it the les exclusif trio Bois de Iles, Coromandel, Cuir de Russie However it is their Parfum is worth dying for thumbup.gif

hence my shopping list will never finish... but i have updated them lol with

Chanel:- Egoiste, Platinum Egoiste, BdC edp
Dior:- Fahrenheit Parfum, Dior Homme Parfum, Eau for Men
Hermes:- TdH Eau Fraiche
Crabtree and Evelyn: Sevillan Neroli

ohmy.gif mega_shok.gif

please let me strike jackpot my dear god

Hello sunday, i hate you mad.gif mad.gif .... coz tml is monday cry.gif cry.gif

Haha anyway like a pregnant lady (of coz a beautiful one), i have a craving for lavender based scent yesterday hence i did some fragrantica reading on MDCI Invasion Barbare while retry my C&S Oxford and Cambridge - a minty lavender which is soft and nice.

then as i scroll down Lavender, i saw this guy appear first and isnt it i have a mini travel spray of it?

user posted image

Haha indeed it is just laying beside of my L'Homme. So one spray to my right wrist.... i doh.gif

how did i not notice the dancing cardamom and lavender right of the bat and it smell very nice lol... then immediately La Nuit became my SOTD yesterday

As for today, the lavender continues.... another nice one from YSL

SOTD - Rive Gauche Pour Homme.. the signature aluminium tin can version

Filling Live Report..
Just visit Chanel boutique at 1u 2hours ago.
Grab N*5 for my mum birthday,And managed to sniff out both the BDC (EDP) & Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme as recommended by SA.
Well,Both scent are really impressive... I would say a fully-loaded tonka bomb for Eau Extreme..

But for my personal preference and my nose choose Bleu De Chanel more.
While their price are really affordable for (EDP) version BDC ; 100ml for Rm330nett.
And Chanel Allure Homme Sport Extreme slightly cheaper ; 100ml for Rm318nett.

Still,I'm impress with BDC.. Perhaps will grab ones to add in my collection for date, meeting and night function use wink.gif

And got couple of freebie from SA,I got BDC,Chance,Coco.
*
Nice present for ur mum... And aunty u have great taste...

Eau Extreme is really tonka bomb but in a really nice manner... There is mint in there too... It is edt concentre, which is slightly weaker than edp hence slight cheaper

Coco n me no click lol.... Chance is a nice one for ladies... But for men we can get away wearing no19 & poudre, cristalle, n5 edt and eau premiere

Since tonight is chanel channel I also wear pour Monsieur concentre for family mid autumn dinner... Nutmeg, mandarin orange, lavender!!!, cardamom... Oriental citrus scent.. Made back in 1989, 4 years younger than me now n it is not dated at all

What kind of perfume good for a smoker? rclxm9.gif
*
the ciggy smoke will most likely mask ur scent trail...

AFAIK, u can consider the following: (am assuming u are looking for tobacco based scent)

YSL L'Homme
Burberry London
D&G The One (if you can look past the abysmal longevity & projection)
TM Pure Havane
Bvlgari Man in Black
V&R Spicebomb
L'occitane Eau de Baux
Versace Dreamer
Gucci by Gucci (same reason as the one)
Serge Luten Chergui
Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille
Tom Ford Tobacco Oud
Parfum Marly Herod
Creed Tabarome Millesime

Thanks macha Marver for the fast delivery of my new designer Burberry London.... suddenly craving for a tobacco based fragrance as chergui almost finish edi...

Well being with both sweet pipe tobacco (chergui), and green tobacco leaves (romance silver)... im on the green leaves side lol and the sweet port wine (my fav after dinner wine) seal the deal for me....

I did consider spicebomb however i got Man in Black and Eau de Baux (more wearable TV) edi, so London is da one... i cant look beyond The One issues, Tabarome is too expensive for a 4hr scent lol... Havana too old school for my liking...

I do admit London do not really excel on the longevity and projection part, still it bring more satisfaction to my nose per ringgit wise compared to Tabarome..

And Marver, Solo by Loewe is truly underrate and yet remarkable... i can sum the scent in 3 words - Juicy, Fruity, Sugar-free.

user posted image

Top notes are lavender, mandarin orange, bergamot, lemon, guava, thyme, rosemary, cashmirwood, patchouli and costus; middle notes are aldehydes, nutmeg, cinnamon, pink pepper, mint, caraway, anise and tangerine; base notes are amber, musk, oakmoss, vanilla and woodsy notes

Spanish and Italian really know how to add in tat flare in making toilet water...

This is the new Acqua di Gio!!!
