SOTD - Sung Homme

Blind bought this off a review that it smells like PAPH. Was a bit disappointed as they smell totally different. It's soapy but not like elegant soap that I love so much. It smells like Antabax Fresh soap if that's how Iris Spring soap smells like. However, it's not a totally unsuccessful blind buy. It smells OK and projection is good although not in Le Male kinda way. It does have a little of that 80s vibe but still smell modern to me.

SOTD- Thierry Mugler A*Men Pure Malt

One of the best perfumes I've smelled so far... I hated A*Men, but PM's whiskey note actually smoothens the harsh notes of A*men...

Any news on whether pure malt will be available in Malaysian departmental store? I gotta get myself a full bottle..biggrin.gif

Haha... seems there's no middle of the road for A*Men, either love or hate. I dig PM as well. very unique in an amazing way...smooth, refined & seductive, haha. At my place, i dun think many have it...i dun think only handful even heard of TM brand. Hope the juice will be available at our stores soon !

Went to Shins to pickup sth for my gf... i saw these 2 edps and cant resist giving both a try on my wrists....

Lets start with Charriol Pour Homme Edp... This should be the satu juta intense... Beastly projection... sweet.. bubblegum, cinnamon RM310 for 100ml

Then Byblos In Black Edp... wow the box sure look very class and beautifully done... Once i spray it, i smell of grapefruit n pepper then right after 5mins, i smell my wrist again... did i just test Terre d'hermes??? 90% similar without the strong sharp bitter orange... mild projection n sillage.... very suit for office... and when i reach home, my sis ask me she tot i use givenchy gentleman, why came back smelling Terre d'hermes smile.gif for this 100ml edp only cost RM198...

Thanks for the heads up. Wow, your sister's into frags too. I'm curious about that Byblos Black as it compared to TdH a lot. Is Black just in store recently? The last time I checked my local Shins they didn't have it.

well i put on Tdh from my miniature beside the spot i spray BIB... diff is the strong, vibrant orange scent which is quite sharp to my nose... i like Bib more compare to Tdh

SOTD - PAPHI

Got my PAPH last year and loved it so much I had to check this one out. However, it wasn't available in stores until early this year. Didn't like it at first. Reminded me of perfume my mom used to wear when I was a kid. It's an acquired taste but it didn't take long before I fell in love with it I had to own it. Wasn't available everywhere I searched so I bought it from SN at around RM258 for a 50ml bottle (not cheap).

Moderate projection and good longevity on my skin. I just wish it could project more.

I had to agree with this but on my skin the smell rather faded maybe because i'm a smoker and always sweating. I don't know

Anyhow, I just love the smell smile.gif

Bought it from BBW at RM210 for 50ml, order on Tuesday got it on Wednesday...quite fast!

I don't smoke but I heard smoking will amplify it. Katie Puckrik says it's closer to skin. Same with what people voted in fragrantica.

I've never purchased anything from fragrancex.com before. I've seen many negative feedbacks. Any one had any good experience? Are their stocks well-kept and authentic? I'm thinking of getting 24 Gold by scentstory.

get it bro, good price for a dior, and 32 is the most pleasant smell among the fahrenheit series,a very well done scent.only thing i have to complain is the longevity,if only it lasts as long as fahrenheit
