QUOTE(Imsilly @ Oct 30 2013, 10:39 AM) Eau Savauge is by Dior right? 3.4oz @ around 190 ringgit. That's around my budget, but can't buy anything at the moment cos been spending too much lately haha. sample first as usual. because you may not like it. Do the same for every single perfume that you buy.

QUOTE(wazzapp @ Nov 9 2013, 04:27 AM) thats really nice.. unlike chanel..so kedekut.. spent almost rm6k already..including 200ml of les exclusif line, all i got is some lousy invitation to their make up trial..sighhh rm100 voucher for every 1k spent would be nice.. u sux chanel chanel is kedekut. jaques polge already says that he HATES the practice of giving samples with perfume which is why it is damm hard to extract samples from the SAs. But I have read in other countries ppl actually get nice things like minis of the les exclusifs from the SAs. But thats in their boutique lah. not perfume counter.

QUOTE(t0n3 @ Nov 19 2013, 09:39 PM) Amouage is slowly becoming one of my favorite niche houses with quality, performance and most importantly price friendly (tester of course). Amouage is actually already one of mine. but it will always be second to Guerlain. In terms of complexity only Serge Lutens beats them. I'm so loving my bottle of interlude

QUOTE(AmmoShaf @ Nov 20 2013, 03:43 PM) Guys, would like to ask for suggestions. I had a bottle of aqua di gio for quite long time and love how it smells(pls notice that i only smells very2 few numbers of perfume in my entire life). Then i watch a lot of youtube review, basenote, fragrantica review for my next perfume as my adg finish. Decided to get Davidoff cool water, buying online(blindbuy), never test it. At first use, i am quite disappointed as CW smells cheap to me and it has bad longevity and also bad projection. I spray a lot(at least 6 sprays) but no one even notice it after 30-40minutes. After using for 3-4 times, it becomes an okay perfume. My gf prevoiusly like ADG and says that coolwater smells harsh but both of them cant last long for me. So I am searching for perfume that last long and project wells because i like to be notice and get compliments. This leads me to JPG Le Male, TM A*men, PR 1million. I never test this kind of perfume, and most of the review said this kind of perfume would be best used in winter/falls while Malaysia is quite hot/warm. Is there any suggestions? Carolina Herrera Aqua is very close to AdG but not the same. You could also try YSL L'Homme which has a raspberry twist. The golden rule to buying perfumes is to always sample and not buy based on reviews alone. Le Male, A*men and 1 Million is used by many other malaysians and brazillans so its not a weather issue. As long as you like the scent, just go for it. But always remember to sample first at those counters or you'll end up regretting your purchase.

QUOTE(newbzie @ Nov 27 2013, 06:14 AM) hey guys not sure if you noticed, but a few might recognize me. I earlier asked how much perfume i would be able to bring when i land in kl for my higher studies, most of you said no worries, can bring any "decent" amount. http://www.iatatravelcentre.com/MY-Malaysi...ons-details.htm says that i can only carry around 200RM worth of perfumes. http://www.customs.gov.my/index.php/en/com...ry-po?showall=1says i don't have any import costs. I don't get it , which one do i follow. And no... honestly it's not helpful asking the embassy over here. It's more populated by arab workers than malay workers. there is a high risk of getting the confisticated anyway. try to bring 1-2 bottles first, they get someone to courier you the rest. that would be safer IMHO.

QUOTE(Astroboy22 @ Nov 27 2013, 06:07 PM) Bro Joey... sorry for the late reply Nice collection you have there http://www.fragrantica.com/member/348862/And guys... i'm looking to try something new.... anyone up for swapping decants, PM me. Of course it has to be reasonable and agreeable by both parties... SOTD - Mona Di Orio - Les Nombres d'or Ambre thanks it's okay haha still pretty small compared to yours. was dissapointed that you dont have Secretions Manifiques tho. Ton3 would enjoy Rien for sure. I'm still looking through. Wanted to try piguet's oud but reviews say that it barely has any. QUOTE(t0n3 @ Nov 28 2013, 11:01 AM) More or less but don't be put off by other people's reviews because only you know it best if it's for you. That's why I always discourage blind buying. Many people put off by its tar note opening. At least I did when I first sniffed it two years ago. Once it's past the opening you get delicious creamy caramel coffee chocolaty vibe. It will be one of my xmas scents for sure taking pefumery as a hobby means you have to understand that it's an art. and when it comes to art, different people have different interpretations of the same thing. And have an understanding that person A's opinion of Perfume X is just his or her opinion and it can be used to give a rough idea but not a 100% same thing. Failing to understand that will result in many regrets.
