ow I see. btw, trying out bluestacks just for fun, turns out its based on android 2.3, good effort, but I guess I will uninstall it for now lol. Everything is pixelated on my monitor, and that humongous orange bar and thick loading circle is not something which I actually wanted to see again XD

QUOTE(h11g @ May 10 2013, 12:07 AM) hi congrats on new thread, since bobcatrom is so highly rated, anyone here have experience with it? any feedback regarding bobcat? I don't know, but as I said, there was some dude who replied in Google+ to my post saying it was the best thing ever, and he was a user of BobCat on other Samsung devices as well. The BobCatROM chef is not a native English speaker from his postings, probably an Italian since he is cooperating with soloilmeglo. It does look quite snazzy from all the included theming options. I guess I will give it a try sometime since I'm curious too. QUOTE(crazyissac @ May 10 2013, 12:20 AM) You want to wave your hand in front of your Note 2 is it? Waving with the S-pen is more magical isn't it? |

QUOTE(ahhon83 @ May 10 2013, 12:23 AM) Firstly welcome to the forum. I don't believe you're in the Owners' List. Do add yourself via the form in post 4.My famous question when people make such posts: Were you using a proper casing (ie one that COMPLETELY encloses the phone) ? I suppose it slipped off your thighs and fell on tarmac? Screen replacement is RM700. QUOTE(arslow @ May 10 2013, 12:27 AM) its emulated, no? but yeah, since Intel has x86 version of android 4.1 and 4.2, wonder what's taking this guys so long? Don't think it's emulated. It's compiled on x86 and runs natively. Full blown OS on some selected Atom netbooks. Of course you could run a prebuilt VirtualBox image as well, but it is still native x86.This post has been edited by joytest: May 10 2013, 12:32 AM |

Think it's best to do a full wipe to go the bobcat route... Guys if I'm wiping my internal storage it's best to back up the android folder right? That's where all the apps settings is saved right ? I've backed up all my apps through titanium btw

The scrolling speed is just off, one "click" makes it go to the bottom of my facebook feed My famous question when people make such posts: Were you using a proper casing (ie one that COMPLETELY encloses the phone) ? Maybe I should just try out the intel version someday. might be less user friendly bu t should run much better imo.btw, did you read about merrifield on Anandtech? Seems to be pretty awesome. As long as they get some huge design wins, we might see Intel slowly dominating the mobile world just like the desktop world. It will take some time, but its certainly possible |

Changed. thanks, cause recently after changing so many roms, started to get some wakelocks eventhough i did full wipe with internal storage intact, i guess its time to wipe everything anew and try a fresh installation. I never seems to get 7-8 sot like some reported by users. Most apps, probably not ALL apps. Well if you have titanium backup for all apps+data you should be fine.
