You just changed the gearbox oil from synthetic to mineral?

Did u experience any juddering previously?
*
Yup. From synthetic to mineral. The gear was fine before the oil change. I don't feel any difference after change.

RM2k for GTI conversion excludes paint job & catback
GTI catback around 1k can settle already

hello fans n owners of VW.

i am thinking of buying a polo 1.2 tsi used 2010 model.
bajet around 70k ++.
what can you guys advice, how i sthe performance, the reliabilty, any major problems, etc etc?

i dun care much bout fast or performance, i am a pretty slow driver, just want a nice car to drive to work daily, small easy to park, with great FC, and twice a month on Utara-Selatan highway.

something like this

Maybe wait for the entry level Polo hatch coming... some soon? Should be pretty much like the current Polo sedan. So you will get a more robust drivetrain, probably not so problematic. And it'd be a new car with full warranty.

yeah saw the new polo hatch at KLIMS but..... it looks average... no L shape taillight, no tsi, 1.6 higher FC... really look bland compared to 2010 world car of the year dun u think? plus is the DSG really that problematic?

now pending results of the mineral DSG oil,
so far my friends swap to mineral DSG oil already for 1 month no issue

if it does fix the DSG issue, then the 1.2 tsi would be a good buy...
however u might wanna see the prices for golf tsi 1.4
they're quite near

Based on the old batches of DSG, they faced powerloss during driving and Juddering in 1st and 2nd gear.
Therefore, VW group claims that they have revised/improved the mechatronics to fix the powerloss issue and came up with thicker clutch pads to solve the juddering issues.

Of course, time will tell whether these claims are valid but so far im very happy with mine la biggrin.gif

It really depends on how you drive but with some lightfoot driving with my Golf, i can get better KM/L than my 1.3 Myvi.

Hi ,

Just want to this again , after being replaced with new mechatronics , has anyone facing issues?
Actually, my TSI 1.4 golf is about 2.5 yrs old, and no issues with the so called power loss or whatever.
Afraid after replace the new mecha ,it turns out worse.

need some advise and input
