Hi all,

Any comment onΒ  Polo GTI?

Got nice offer on Polo GTI 5 door version but year made 2012 (new car old stock).. slashed more than 20k..

Good point the warranty will follow date of purchase, but sad part is the car was sitting for over 2 years

Hoping to hear from the genuine VW owner.. (admitted kindda freak out seeing the rants in VW malaysia FB)..

However, it does not turn off appetite for VW, as my current ride is Potong.. (worst After Sales.. but not difficult to DIY)

afaik polo gti is quite an amazing car
abide dsg (DQ200) mechatronic issue (might be solve by mineral transmission oil)
earlier 2011 version might have piston/block defect

my friend's polo gti been running on sepang track quite often, so far no dsg issue

My Golf Mk7 since October'13 has been running good and smooth. Power delivery is almost immediate. Superb car to drive.

Hi, to those who are driving the MK7. Do you guys notice any light rattling sound from the driver side dashboard when going through uneven roads?

changing transmission or engine oil won't directly impact performance one... doh.gif
mineral oil solving dsg issue?
to be skeptical, needs at least 3 months to 1 year to see if any issue reoccur

The rattling sound comes from under the steering for my mk6. From day 1 until today, 3 years later. Freaking annoying as it only happens everytime I return home (housing area roads) T_T

For mine so far none. Smooth shift and acceleration even from 0kmp/h uphill. Only issue is that my front absorber got a very faint 'dub' sound when i go over a bump. Need to get it checked at SC. Appointment already made smile.gif
