Does anyone know if the Tiguan contains the recalled transmission? So far, I haven't been getting any notice from the dealer (Wearnes).

It will void the engine warranty, IF they send the sample engine oil for analysis/testing when you claim warranty.

How often do you guys change your wipers?
Lately I realised that my wiper is not wiping well.
Can VW cars use any standard wipers or there are specific models for it? I notice that the clip is slightly different.

Could someone enlighten me about the wipers. As our clip looks slightly different, are there specific models for vw cars? Or any universal one would do?

Where can I find compatible wipers then?

installing leather for seats won't void warranty,
as long as they don't tamper with the sensor

same for tint, usually they will just avoid the rain sensor part

guys, any outside workshop for recommendation?
VW SC void my warranty cause my mileage exceed the service interval.
Here goes my story:
was trying made service appointment with VW SC (FA glen marie, jln222 and CERGAZ TTDI) as I heard some funny sound from wheel and also maintenance service but earliest available date is 3 weeks later. One of them told me, even you bring your car to to the workshop, they will not entertain me as I don't have appointment. So, no choice, I wait!

After 3 weeks, sent in my car and told VWSC got sound at front wheel bearing. After diagnose, they confirm wheel bearing is faulty but i have to pay for it as my car warranty void at the same time!!!!!
BTw,  VW Wheel bearing is RM900 per piece!!

I am not going back to VW authorized Workshop anymore!

may i know where is the manufactured of VW actually?
