My recommendation will be Shure SE215 and Hippo ProOne
It is huge different, however W5000 require expensive amplifier, why not consider the W3000ANV.
You can try audio technica T200.
Maybe you can get from Jaben? It is faster and less hassle for warranty claim.

Audio Technica T200 does not hv mic sad.gif ....any other recommendation? preferably with mic thou.

i think if you insist on the w5000, just go ahead
its better to go for end game headphone rather than upgrading step by step
but not everyone like how the w5000 sounds
the w3000anv on the other hand is a little easier to drive

headphone is one thing, think of the cost for amplification while at it, it will give you headaches for years to come

Wahhh .. need to purchase high end amp which is quite big and heavy? I'm thinking of using the headphone in the office ... so, portability is needed .. sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

And the price of good amp is over > RM 1000

does this mean with the budget that I have, I should go back to A2000X as it doesn't need a good amp? hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif

for portable power amp, you can try RSA amps, they carry some good ones, but of course not as good as a desktop setup

not many custom plates seem to be available

oh I see, cos from the photos on the net and like in your sig, the 770 pro seems to have a softer cushion headband. i guess i couldn't tell from the pics. it looked like the COP had a stiffer headband.

but yeah i really bought into the reviews, so didn't bother with testing even though i wanted to at first. the price is worth it
