The driver is going to use Suzuki APV 2008? Is this car comfortable for long hour trip e.g. like going to Kintamani from Ubud?

I had actually fixed on getting Tegal Sari, but then some travellers mentioned Tegal Sari is not suitable for honeymoon. So now, I'm thinking to get Tegal Sari or not. Among the below hotel for Ubud, which is better for honeymoon?
Tegal Sari Alam Shanti (no. 2 in Tripadvisor) Tepi Sawah |

Honestly for short period of time, really dun waste your time switching hotel...Just a RM30 B&B will do.You will not enjoy the hotel stay bcos you will be rushing for time & concentrating on attarctions rather than those Honeymoon style resort...Unless you have a week there & wanting few days of relaxation, it's diff story.
For me..Short duration..go for budget- you just need a place to sleep & abit of rest..why spend $$ on honeymoon resort where u will sleep & go For long duration, I will opt for 4 Star & above..more on relaxation rather than attractions.. Well the choice is yours |

We're going there for one whole week and plan to relax for 2 days in Ubud first, hence looking for those honeymoon style accommodations. What's more, these hotels were actually quite affordable. A bit regret, should have push 7 to 10 days lagi best! For me..Short duration..go for budget- you just need a place to sleep & abit of rest..why spend $$ on honeymoon resort where u will sleep & go For long duration, I will opt for 4 Star & above..more on relaxation rather than attractions.. Well the choice is yours If I'm on rush, I would choose those below RM150. BTW, sorry to repeat question cause did not get any feedback, how's the reliability balidiscovery.com to book rooms? Seems like cheaper by booking with them. This post has been edited by fraulein: Sep 27 2009, 12:24 PM |

Actually my comment is for icyd who only will be in Bali for 3D2N..& for such a short duration.. & rushing for time a simple clean B&B without TV will do..For your case is totally diff story, U can spend few days of attractions & thus more time enjoying resort facilities.
For Bali, I always use either Agoda or asiarooms..both are super reliable..others, no idea at all |

Hi people,
Wanna share and ask some suggestions and more advice on my trip to BALI on 7th-12th OCT 2009 with my family.... I researched alot till I can go blind... Anyway, I checked alot of hotels and I booked through www.balihotel.com This website gives cheaper rates of bali hotels at really good price....very cheap...compared to the normal hotel websites.... I called and ask some hotels in Bali and they told me that they have some kind of contract with the www.balihotel.com people... I am trying to call my hotel Bali Ayu to confirm if there is such thing. And I would be paying them soon. Anyone tried through this website. It has good deals. But I still have my doubts.(Duno f it is real) Please advise me people. Anyone stayed at Bali Ayu Hotel at SEMINYAK before? I would be getting the standard room for 4 nights and 1 night 2 Bed Room Villa with pool. Sounds good. But please do give me some views and suggestions. Is BALI AYU OK to stay? And some questions: 1. What activities to do there? Book online better or go there ask guide? or ask when i reach there (the location of the activity there)? 2. I would be driving there. Cheaper I guess compared to with guide. Gonna rely heavily on maps. Any advice? 3. Where are the good and best place to look for food? 4. Where are the best place to shop? 5. I would love to climb those volcanic mountains and maybe see dolphins, so should i book earlier? Any suggestions on who should I check? 6. How about water rafting? Please reply asap. Need to confirm alot of thgs soon!! THANK YOU PEEPS!! |
