Uluwatu - A nice view but BEWARE of the Monkey. They will grab your glasses and hat and exchange for food "if you still consider lucky". My friend glasses kena grab BUT the monkey just run away and disappear sweat.gif shakehead.gif

All Bali seasoned traveller, how much Malaysian ringgit roughly to bring and cover for a 4days 3 nights stay in Kuta areas? Maybe, will do some light shopping, eating 2 main meals a day and maybe hop in for a spa and massage session. I am thinking of bringing pocket money RM500.00 for this trip, ok? Flight and hotel already paid for, so no need worry about these 2 liow.

So, RM400 will do for a Bali trip for light shopping around, taking 2 meals a day plus spare for spa and a round of massage, wow! That should do the trick. Thanks...

I book from Agoda. Ubud Junjungan

But this hotel consider far from Ubud City. Around 5~10min driving distance. But they got free shuttle to Ubud City (few trip). Only 10 rooms. Small swimming pool. No internet access. No shop within walking distance. Consider in the middle of the Padi Field. If you ok with this, I really recommend this hotel to you. Room big, nice and clean. You can see the review in Agoda. lol.... I forgot to shoot the bath room. Will get some photo from my friend (he still no time to sort the photo, pls give sometime tongue.gif ). Hope this help. smile.gif

BTW, Ubud is not really a City hor...The so called town ctr is located at Monkey Forest road which is Walking distance North of the lousy monkey forest park. Only a row of shops, restaurants, pubs & boputique resorts..the back of those resorts facing padi field so u got the feeling of padi field...I entered one of those resorts on the main Village ctr ..& I luv one of them..THE BARONG.

http://www.barong-resort.com/

It's in Ubud village centre wth restaurants & souvenir shops..but the price.. rclxub.gif ..There are cheaper & so-so budget resorts surrounding the barong resorts..The last I checked wth them price from Us$23/nite...not bad... smile.gif ..Walk-in rate sumore..& lotsa rooms no need pre-book.

Diff place-lah..Now most of the big EQ concentrated near Sumatera...Bali although part of the volcanic rim but so far, less activities compare to Sumatera.

hey guys, im going to bali for 5 days 4 nights end of october.

has anyone stayed at nusa dua beach hotel and spa before? and is driving around in bali safe? or do i need to hire a driver?

really appreciate the feedback.

many thanks smile.gif
*
nusa dua is very nice... great breakfast buffet spread. the only down side is that even though it has it's own private beach it's not very lovely.

i think having a driver is easier. not very expensive anyway... and he can play tour guide as well smile.gif
