QUOTE(vetkin_gray @ Jun 7 2013, 11:30 PM) does nvidia SLI really work? if the GT750m SLI can match the performance of the gtx 675MX with half the price. WHy all the other gaming laptop companies don wanna do the same? Sometimes, people being sensitive towards micro-stuttering and not all games support SLi especially most of MMO's and those not famous titles. QUOTE(slimfox @ Jun 8 2013, 05:05 PM) Yes gonna upgrade mine soon to that too. Corsair FTW compare the clock speed. which is the faster. More RAM adds the ability to multi-task programs simultaneously, whilst clock speed how fast the system load from the RAM buffer storage. if were you i'd get the 1.8Ghz clock at 8GB. worth more than 16GB 1.6Ghz.

That is if your bus can support that speed la. Not sure about y500 and do not intend to overclock a laptop so guess if its spec at 1600mhz I will stay within spec. Corsair is a good reliable brand. I will save the extra cash for SSD

Not really, i7-3610/3630 only support up to 1600MHz memory speed So after u insert more than 1600MHz speed RAM, it will still compatible, just the speed will limit to 1600MHz....
