I don't really post much so I'm sorry if I break any forum rules. Been contemplating so long to replace my laptop which by itself is an antique piece of art (6 years and still running strong). Am currently am split between Y500 and the Asus ROG (the latter due to its design).

My main issue is how big of a gap in performace does the Asus ROG GTX770 has when compared towards Y500 GTX 750 SLI graphics card?

The Y500 certainly looks like a beast, but if the performance is a marginal 5% difference; then I'll probably opt to grab my first ever Lenovo laptop.

Hey guys, is it even possible to install BOTH a SATA SSD and a HDD to a Lenovo Y580? (Im not talking about a single hybrid drive)
Or is the only option available is mSata SSD + HDD ?  I have a single 240gb SSD in my laptop and im starting to feel the lack of space.    Looking for options.

Any Y580 users here that play Dota2? Sometime i observed that the Wifi connectivity sometime like drop until 0kb up or down stream when playing Dota2, not sure if it's the Wireless Card problem... any nice card for recommendation? One which can work without flashing the BIOS got?

Currently using the 10.0.0.209, after work will try update to 10.0.0.234 and see how it goes. Or else might consider to change some other wifi card...

Might have to resolve with that if the Wifi connectivity problem really annoys me... but what model is good? Didn't go research on this area yet...
