Not too sure on PC spkrs. But for HT, its Tractrix tweeter does make it sounds a lil bright. But, aint complaining since i got a cable to neutralise by a lil and it does its job for movie.

yai...today just get another gmx 2.1(2nd hand from a forumer).i paired it with my 2nd rig (inspiron 9300) now i have 2X gmx 2.1 in my house...one in my room and the other one @the living room...

I just bought the Promedia GMX from garagesale 2 days ago, but i found that the front right channel dun have sound. Stil wait for garagesale to change for me.

i brought my gmx back to my hometown...and now only use m3300+ksc75+sr80...i really miss my gmx sounds...anyway..im curious hows the sound of promedia 2.1?alot people said it has a good sound quality....is it more on clarity or still for basshead or well ballanced...

My 4 years old Promedia 2.1's bass is broken already
It has some sort of bubble burst sound coming out when there is a heavy beat.
Wonder if it's possible to just change the subwoofer?

Put me on the list, as the proud owner of Klipsch Promedia GMX-A 2.1. I've fixed the lack of bass few days ago, at first I thought why do people say the bass is boomy becasue even at max volume, theres barely any bass,

I opened up the preamp and I found out one of the capacitor fell off, soldered it back and now I know what do you guys mean. I'm not a bass freak, I cant even handle bass at more than 1/4 of the knob turned
