It will be good if you change to quality cable... But my instinct say that it's no need to change anything better cause won't get significant better performance ratio. Unless for audiophile and big home speaker system then different story. But hey, I wanna be Klipsch fan club cos I love Klipsch

QUOTE(geejun2 @ Apr 22 2006, 03:08 AM) klipsch is more to bass rite? can i produce sound quality like aego m? hahha YES! But Aego M has better soundstaging and integration with sub. You should set the GMX's sub-level to about the 9-10 o'clock position (or lower) so that the bass is not overpowering. For the GMX, angle and positioning are also important; less so the Aegos. Make sure you don't tuck your GMX sub into a corner or it gets boomy. The Klipsch has a livelier sound signature and is better for Dance/House music, Rock and most Jazz pieces but its a bit pickier with its songs. Overall, the Aegos are better though, but cost more; the GMX close, but is cheaper. They really do need time to sweeten up though, being a little bright out of the box. I love both! Hahahaha! Let's not talk about the GMX, with it's internal DAC and aim towards console boys, we all expect muddy bass ala Logitech.
Suggest Listening to the Promedia and Synergy line to get a better idea of how the Klipsch's KSW sub really pounds out hard yet accurate bass. Haven't heard their reference and aragon line though.
Anyways i do own a set of Klipsch Promedia 2.0 Ultras, absolutely lovely for music at it's price, excellent except the sucky bass, keep that down to a minimum and you'll thank me for the good sounds, and so will your CD collection.
Contemplating a Synergy set for movies, but no moolah.

Was referring to the GMX 2.1, which doesn't have an internal DAC; only the 5.1 does. Too bad the Promedia Ultras are not readily available here, but then again, the price would be prohibitive for most....

If anyone is interested, i'm letting go of mine for 300, saving up since i'm going overseas next month and plan to overspend on fattening foods and a giant LCD monitors that i obviously don't need.

well, i admire klipsch speaker long time ago untill my ex-housemate bought one and ... speechless. klipsch is more to disco kaki, the satelite speaker sounds too bright and sub woofer is too boomy to me, got a feeling of logitech stuff. compared to my sis bf's AL MX5021, i'll love 5021 more than klipsch. AL 5021 stock cable is crappy, after changed the cable, it sounds much more better than klipsch (never tried changing cable on klipsch though). bass of AL5021 is not as powerful and boomy as klipsch, but it sounds more natural and accurate. juz my personal opinion, don't flame me This post has been edited by fx_53_xt: Apr 23 2006, 10:35 PM
