yup no DTS...but it doesn't matter because you can still use the software DVD player to decode or using soundcard to decode DTS signal.

necessity is always a personal thing. a superstar's lifestlye may neccessitate a ferrari, but a 'normal' person's do not.

when looking at multichanel systems, you must always remember: not all games or movies support multichannel. music is meant to be played on stereo and not multichannel, unless of course we're talking about dvd audio.

well then, now i do not see any reason whatsoever to get a PMU5.1

I'm considering between a GMX-A 2.1 and a MX5021. Just wondering, how's the bass on the GMX? I know it's probably pretty strong, but is it tight and controlled? And how fast can it respond?

Currently leaning towards MX5021, but the GMX-A might be nicer for games IMO, so I need to ask around.

Just got myself GMX 2.1 a week ago....
So far I dont have any complaints towards this speaker

Bro,if more on music better get the PSC 805.Very2 nice sound.Cool looking some more.Completely nice macthing it with your gmx.

If in future what to upgrade to 5.1 also can still use the PSC805

well, ive never listenend to the PSC805 before but the av710 is a very very warm card. i think it should fit the gmx.

[anyway, if you guys werent turned off by the brightness of the speakers i dont think warmth matters that much ]
