Is anyone using the micro hdmi to hdmi or VGA or dvi adapter? Where did you buy from? I'm looking to get one but all I can seem to find are micro hdmi to hdmi cables. I don't want cable.

Microsoft's service hotline for the Surface is actually quite frustrating if you choose to speak in English. They sent my call to China and it was rather torturous. And the service codes/e-mails/tickets have a time limit so you need to respond within the time, so if you're busy then it'll be rather difficult.

I sent my touch cover for RMA with box everything, it came back without the original box. To top it up, courier threw into my garage.

Yeah. Courier was TNT, and actually I was warned by Harvey Norman to choose to speak in BM which I did at first, then the machine allowed me to choose BM or English again so I probably went wrong there. Never going to speak to Microsoft Surface division in English again. lol.

they spoke funny and I couldn't really understand them. had to keep asking them to repeat. and then I repeated what they said so I was sure I heard correctly.

IINM there are other divisions locally that handle different things. Just that surface division is in china.

I've got Robotek and Reaper installed on mine. Along with a few emulators, but I haven't tried that.

Hook up your RT to a large screen, plug up a wireless xbox controller and you've got a console. Somewhat.

The ones I have are snes8x, VGb and gba I think.

Has anyone tried split snap screens on an external display? I'm trying to get 4 snap screens but can only get 3. Using a 27" monitor.

Mine seems to be working fine. Didn't have to redownload or change anything.

They replaced my touch cover for me coz the corners were splitting. Just don't bother sending the original box. They wont return it to you.

Why 8.1 update retracted

So if that's the reason, then what? All of us running 8.1 will eventually have the error/can not reboot ever/what?

Well, even so, it would be good to know whether the ones that got the update before the pull are in any danger.

HAHA! ME! I had the same problem. Send it for RMA. Call Microsoft directly and talk to the customer service agent. If you can speak bahasa, take that option otherwise they might send you to a China service agent.

Yeah, can. But probably case to case basis. I got mine replace coz three corners of my touch cover split open. Just give it a shot and call them.

I had a similar problem that day when I shut down my surface rt and booted it some time later. Haven't turned it off since then. Lol. No problems from standby though.
