I think 11" sleeves would fit better, like the ones for mac book air. I know a Crumpler Fug can fit the surface and touch cover no problem.

You can always download a third party media player. Apparently press play works quite well, or so I heard.

I used to be on flipboard on my android. now I don't bother anymore. lol. switched over to feedly and pocket.

You can use hubs no problem. And btw, you don't have to log in with hotmail account. Can always use local user with reduced functionality.

Yes can use hubs. I actually never, ever trust salesppl, shopkeepers or vendors, unless I know them personally. I've tested with my logitech 4 port hub, connected my mechanical keyboard and logitech mouse to it and it works.

local user as in don't log in with any email account, just create a user, just as you would any regular desktop pc.

Certain preloaded apps and features require a Microsoft related email account to work. Like the people app and skydrive, among others. Also I think the encryption data or something like that is also linked to the email address.

You can always add in your Gmail or yahoo account email later into the mail app. Nothing will stop you. Haha. I have my Gmail account in my mail app and the Google search app. Lol

Had to send my touch cover for rma recently. The corners were coming apart.

Just got it back. Quite disappointed.

Courier and packaging when return to you sucks crap. Sent back to me via TNT, but say using UPS (1st fail), then TNT left the package in my driveway coz no one was at home (2nd fail), then open packaging, touch cover came in some air foam bubble pack envelope in a box in the courier bag. Wtf happened to the original packing I sent to them or the original packing of the rma unit?

I have to go check now whether they sent me a new unit or a refurb unit.

They actually said I can wrap with whatever. But I didn't have a box same size as the touch cover, so I just use original packing. Didn't think they'd send back to me without(!!) the original packing. Even my SSD which I sent for warranty came back with original packing and it's accessories. Heck, anything I've ever rma with original box and accessories returned to me with original box and accessories.

Checked my touch cover serial. It's the same one I registered. Either they changed the number for the one I registered, printed my serial on a new cover or fixed my touch cover which actually looks really new. Wy Microsoft so weird one.

Funny way of doing things. Oh well. I should be happy I got my cover back and no one stole it from my driveway.
