If board temp is higher than CPU looks like you got no airflow in your casing, are your case fans functioning? IF 2 fans are they at 1 intake 1 exhaust. Refer to link for airflow

Also, is the left side of your case pushed against the wall and the side grill got blocked?

I have 2 fans, 1 intake and 1 exhaust. My pc is quite near to the wall, about 1m... BTW, I OC it... biggrin.gif

quite ok la.. mine using pd 805 .. pwm around 43-45c and cpu 40c idle . stuff in CM C5.

wow .. thats hot .. my friend on pd 805 n the temp was insane .. pwm 71+ / mobo 53 + / cpu 48+ laugh.gif n the temps r not in full load mode .. i wonder wether the temp sensor gone mad or thats the temp .. unsure.gif

i use artice freezer 4 before..not so good ler..drop a few C oni sad.gif

if wanna compare performance n silent,big typhoon or scythe ninja better?

n gigabyte cooler good o not huh?

for freezer 4, it is due to the fan is small with low RPM, the good thing is very quite. last time i saw elhh lelong the excess ninja plus for rm170 incl. gdex, not sure still availble boh...

mine's Pentium D 820 @ 50°C Full Load Around 6+°C i think, my room have high ceiling with wide windows but only using stand fan & the case only have exhaust no intake, temps like hell when playing games....

scythe mine is a good heat sink ....however i currently change from amd to intel and i face problem install the scythe mine due to the fin blocking me and take me around 30 min to install the heat sink.....so i might suggest to get something that easy to install and good performance..

my rig is currently the almost stock Acer Aspire with SiS661FX MOBO...

if i add some more fans then the temp can drop...

but there's one thing i've been wanting to know...my case have a side fan slot, the fan is set to exhaust or intake?
