Not if I take two steps foward LOL

Give it a try with any zoom lens and see, it's possible to maintain the apparent size of the subject in the photo while including or excluding the background depending on the focal length you use.  biggrin.gif

[Edit] Here's an example of what i'm talking about

i know what you mean, but i doubt you can see much more background with a wider angle with this composition that you have chosen. oh, and exposure too

Well, honestly I have no idea what I would get as well since I don't have a wider lens at that time sweat.gif

But the skies which I'm exposing for is really nice, so I wanted more of it in the shot, regardless of whether my subjects will be blocking them. brows.gif

i packed my 85mm for portrait but its too close sometimes.. need 135mm maybe hahaha

but for street, i just go with tele-zoom most of the time

maybe the 18-35 f1.8 is a good tele-zoom for street (crop body)

18-35 sure super expensive @@ gonna try it once its out..
u using crop or FX? why 85mm close? hmm.gif

It's proof of the improving ergonomics of their enthusiast cameras, maybe my next upgrade in a couple years would be a D400 if Nikon ever decides to release one  drool.gif
Aiya, ergonomics are important la, allows you to shoot longer what.
I have to handhold the camera for long periods of time when I shoot macro, so it's definitely a plus point for me when a camera fits like a glove  thumbup.gif

I have the 11-16 which I'm borrowing from my cousin atm, but no chance to fully utilize it yet, since I'm stuck at home with assignments  doh.gif

Mine's a cabinet, not a box LOL.

o then mine diff , i using box, not using cabinet yet.
haha, i shall not try the D7100 to make me lose my royalty towards my D7000 !
saw ur post on the using UWA but retain subject size and increase the background post, how does it actually works? ._.

LOLs I only know how to recreate the effects, dunno how to explain how it's done in detail.

But here's a link to a post with photos ranging from 12mm to 200mm. An interesting read thumbup.gif

Actually I have a friend working under the same company, but for different area (hers is the ship instead), so she introduced me to her whose working for Lamborghini... and she started posing! A bit stress actually cause ah, she pose so well, if can't capture good angles don't know how to show her later on -.- and I have very limited space to move around.. and the crowd was pretty crowded after a while.
